Om een klimaatvriendelijke samenleving tot stand te brengen, moeten we de feiten kennen, informatie uitwisselen en met elkaar praten.
Het Europees klimaatpact draagt bij aan de verspreiding van kennis over klimaatactie die wetenschappelijk onderbouwd is en een praktische basis biedt voor actie. Het biedt voorbeelden ter inspiratie en informatie en helpt netwerken en gemeenschappen om meer te doen en meer impact te hebben.

- Wetenschap vertalen in keuzes voor het dagelijks leven
- Klimaatkennis stimuleren en klimaatwetenschap en -oplossingen integreren in het onderwijs
- Klimaatmythes ontkrachten en klimaatontkenning en desinformatie tegengaan, overeenkomstig de aanpak van desinformatie en het actieplan voor Europese democratie
- Mensen samenbrengen om ervaringen en ideeën uit te wisselen
- Bestaande initiatieven met verschillende partijen inzetten om bewustzijn te vergroten
