Jotta voimme luoda ilmastoystävällisen yhteiskunnan, meidän on ymmärrettävä tosiasiat, jaettava tietoa ja keskusteltava toistemme kanssa.
Euroopan ilmastosopimusaloite tarjoaa alustan, jonka avulla voidaan jakaa tieteellisesti luotettavaa ja toimintaa tukevaa ilmastotietoa. Sen tarkoituksena on antaa näkyvyyttä ilmastoratkaisuille ja tällä tavoin edistää ideointia ja oppimista sekä auttaa verkostoja ja yhteisöjä laajentamaan toimiaan ja lisäämään niiden vaikuttavuutta.
Mistä aloitteessa on kyse?
- Nimetään lähettiläitä, jotka toimivat yhteistyössä omien yhteisöjensä ja verkostojensa kanssa
- Muunnetaan tieteellinen tieto arjen ratkaisuiksi
- Edistetään ilmasto-osaamista ja ilmastotieteen ja ‑ratkaisujen sisällyttämistä koulutusohjelmiin
- Kumotaan ilmastomyyttejä ja torjutaan ilmastotoiminnan vastaisen ja virheellisen tiedon levittämistä disinformaation torjuntaa koskevien toimien ja Euroopan demokratiatoimintasuunnitelman mukaisesti
- Tuetaan kokemusten ja ideoiden jakamista
- Jaetaan tietoa olemassa olevien sidosryhmäaloitteiden avulla
