För att bygga ett klimatvänligt samhälle måste vi ta till oss fakta, hjälpa till att sprida kunskap och föra en dialog med varandra.
Med den europeiska klimatpakten kan vi sprida vetenskapligt grundad kunskap och skapa en grund för klimatarbetet. Vi kommer att kunna lyfta fram lösningar värda att inspireras och lära av, och stödja insatserna från de nätverk och lokalsamhällen som kämpar för klimatet.
Vad kommer klimatpakten att göra?
- Välja ut ambassadörer som åtar sig att nå ut till människor i de egna lokalsamhällena och nätverken.
- Omsätta vetenskap i idéer på sådant som går att göra i vardagen.
- Främja klimatkunskap och bidra till att föra in klimatvetenskap i olika utbildningsprogram.
- Slå hål på klimatmyter och motarbeta klimatförnekande och felaktig information, i linje med åtgärderna mot desinformation och EU:s handlingsplan för demokrati.
- Föra samman människor för utbyten av erfarenheter och idéer.
- Ta hjälp av befintliga flerpartsinitiativ för att öka klimatkunskapen i samhället.
