Para construir uma sociedade respeitadora do clima, precisamos de compreender os factos, partilhar informação e falar uns com os outros.
O Pacto Europeu para o Clima ajudará a difundir conhecimentos cientificamente sólidos sobre a ação climática que proporcionem uma base para agir. Divulgará soluções para que outros se possam inspirar e aprender e ajudará as redes e as comunidades a amplificarem a sua ação e o seu impacto.
O que fará o Pacto?
- Acolherá embaixadores que comunicarão com as pessoas das suas comunidades e redes
- Traduzirá a ciência em possibilidades de ação para o dia a dia
- Promoverá a literacia climática e ajudará a integrar a ciência e soluções climáticas nos programas pedagógicos
- Desconstruirá mitos e combaterá o negacionismo e as informações erradas sobre o clima, em consonância com as medidas para combater a desinformação e o Plano de Ação para a Democracia Europeia
- Aproximará pessoas para que partilhem experiências e ideias
- Utilizará iniciativas multilaterais existentes para reforçar a sensibilização
