Para construir una sociedad respetuosa del clima, tenemos que comprender los hechos, compartir la información y comunicarnos.
El Pacto Europeo por el Clima contribuirá a difundir conocimientos sobre la acción climática que sean sólidos desde el punto de vista científico y en los que pueda basarse la acción. Pondrá de relieve soluciones para inspirar y aprender, y ayudará a las redes y las comunidades a ampliar su acción y su impacto.
¿Qué hará el Pacto?
- Acoger a los embajadores que se comunicarán con los ciudadanos dentro de sus comunidades y sus redes
- Traducir la información científica en posibilidades de actuaciones cotidianas
- Promover la cultura climática e integrar la ciencia y las soluciones climáticas en los programas educativos
- Desacreditar los mitos sobre el clima y contrarrestar la negación del cambio climático y la información errónea, en consonancia con las acciones paracombatir la desinformación y el Plan de Acción para la Democracia Europea
- Reunir a las personas para compartir experiencias e ideas
- Utilizar iniciativas existentes de múltiples interesados para aumentar la concienciación
