За да създадем благоприятно за климата общество, е необходимо да разбираме фактите, да споделяме информация и да разговаряме помежду си.
Европейският пакт за климата ще спомогне за разпространението на знания за действия в областта на климата, които са научно обосновани и осигуряват основа за действие. Той ще покаже решения за вдъхновение и обучение и ще помогне на мрежите и общностите да разширят своите действия и въздействие.
Какво ще направи пактът?
- Ще бъдат посрещнати посланиците, които работят с хора в своите общности и мрежи
- Науката ще бъде превърната във възможности за ежедневни действия
- Ще се насърчи грамотността в областта на климата и ще се подпомогне интегрирането на науката и решенията в образователните програми
- Ще се развенчаят митовете за климата и ще се противодейства на грешната информация, в съответствие с действията за борба с дезинформацията и Плана за действие за европейската демокрация.
- Ще се обединят хората с цел споделяне на опит и идеи
- Ще се използват съществуващите инициативи на няколко заинтересовани страни с цел повишаване на осведомеността
