As chair of the network ‘Water & climate’, 14 municipalities, regional safety & security authority, management governance board, I facilitate exchange of expertise on climate adaptation. We develop public spaces for multiple uses: retain water, green oases, recreation. In the city of Nieuwegein where 2000 new houses are built, we use the SDGs to bring together ambitions to strengthen biodiversity, circular building, clean public transport and circular water management.

I am a social and environmental psychologist with a lot of experience researching the energy transition. My research examines micro- (i.e. individual) and meso-level (e.g. social networks) and macro (geographical, technical) drivers of decision-making and behaviour change in sustainable energy consumption. In my work I draw on theories and empirical evidence from multiple fields, working in inter-and transdisciplinary national and international research projects. My motivation as a Climate Pact ambassador is to talk to, reach, and engage the hard-to-reach segments in society and involved them in climate change related talks and actions.

As a professor in Maritime & Transport at Delft University Technology, I am active in research and education to achieve the climate ambitions for the emission-intensive transportation sector. I am convinced that transdisciplinary innovations (involving industry, policymakers, research institutes, and NGOs) and educated people with cross-disciplinary skills are instrumental to confronting the climate challenges of our time.

As a Pact Ambassador, I commit to activating as many individuals and groups as I possibly can to achieve the climate targets in the transportation sector, within the year to come. To this end, I will (1) develop an open-access online course (TU Delft MOOC) on decarbonising transport, (2) I will found an international project task force to promote a roadmap for net zero emissions ports, and (3) I will initiate an online webinar series on decarbonising the maritime sector to connect maritime users to innovators with climate solutions.

As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I aim to advocate for climate justice and young voices from the Global South. My goal is to make the climate crisis more tangible and get people engaged by using storytelling and effective climate communication. Together with young people from around the world, I want to develop new narratives for a future we all want to strive for! 

I am an environmental novel writer, lecturer and reporter. I work on climate justice issues for the historical Italian Tv program Geo - Rai3. As scientific communicator and climate literacy expert I collaborate with Radio3scienza and other Tv programs. Throughout my books and projects I work with schools and universities to foster climate literacy. I have been member of the Eucra Sounding Board for the first European Climate Risk Assessment and I am project leader of many initiatives about climate justice and related issues, such as United Mountains of Europe and Diritto a REsistere/Right to Resist.

One of the founders of FridaysForFuture Italy, I am also ambassador of the Mediterranean Sea Foundation and of the Filicudi Wildlife Conservation and explorer for the Society of Woman Geographers. My commitment in science storytelling and climate education is focused on the interconnection among climate justice, human rights and biodiversity.

Specialist in low carbon economy, with technical training in environment and innovation: Civil Engineering, Master in Environmental Sciences and Master in Innovation Management. My professional experience is in the field of environment and sustainability since 2000. I have developed more than 50 renewable energy projects, especially in Spain, but also in Europe and Latin America and participated in several Innovation Projects, in the European Framework, on environment and sustainability.

As an ecologist, climate advocate, and artist, I am passionate about using creativity to address one of the most urgent issues of our time: climate change. Art has the unique ability to communicate the complexities of climate issues in ways that data and facts alone often cannot. Through visual storytelling, performance, and creative projects, I strive to bridge this gap, making the urgency of climate action accessible, personal, and impactful. For me, this journey goes beyond creating art – it's about creating a movement that encourages a collective shift in perspective. I believe that artists have a responsibility to create with nature in their minds and hearts, and I am committed to being an agent of change within the creative industries. My first step in this direction is the voluntary initiative “Ecomuse”.

Another key aspect of my climate action work is raising awareness through interactive awareness-raising projects, and dialogue with young people and local communities. As part of my involvement with the European Institute Foundation, which hosts three Europe Direct Centers in Bulgaria, I continue to serve as a bridge between climate science and society. I am dedicated to connecting the needs of our planet with the voices of the most affected by the energy transition, ensuring that those who feel left behind and deprived of justice are included in the conversation on climate action.

As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I advocate for sustainable practices and climate action across local, regional, EU, and international levels, including forums like UNFCCC COP29. My mission is to take an active role in climate initiatives while fostering meaningful dialogue between communities and policymakers. As an ESG Specialist and Startup Mentor, I leverage my expertise to translate sustainability into practical, real-world solutions. By collaborating with local authorities, civil society, and businesses, I help shape climate policies that drive change and align with the UN SDGs, proving that positive transformation is both possible and achievable.

I am an educational mediator working with young people to raise awareness about climate action and sustainability. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I plan to lead community workshops on reducing carbon footprints, organize an urban greening initiative to plant 200 trees, and run a digital campaign to inspire climate-conscious behaviors. My goal is to engage the youth and broader community in building a more sustainable future.

I am an impact filmmaker, game designer and environmental economist focused on creating escapist narratives about environmental and social issues that translate scientific information into exciting pop culture or gameplay and can be enjoyed by a wide public. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I will promote new entertainment narratives that reach and empathize with audiences outside the bubble, hopeful and uplifting stories that can forge new paths and connections in the real world.

As a teacher and resident in the area near Athens International Airport, I am interested in collaborating with European citizens and organisations facing similar issues.

I hope with all my heart that this movement will improve our lives and establish the foundation for a better future for Europe... for the planet - our HOME!

Trained as an architect specialized in green building and ecoconstruction, I am very active in architecture and climate change interest groups

I plan to network together with professionals from the sector committed to acting on the appropriate stakeholders that motivate changes in regulations and ways of constructing throught all the life cycle of a buiilding to achieve a built environment of zero carbon footprint and that generate a sustainable and healthy environment.

I am an environmental scientist and professor at the University of Algarve with extensive experience in water research. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I aim to promote climate literacy using workshops, public lectures, and community projects, focused on the critical role of water in climate resilience. My goal is to inspire communities to adopt sustainable water practices and empower individuals with science-based knowledge to drive impactful climate actions at local, regional, national and EU level.

As a designer, sculpture & crafter, I am dedicated to teaching and design, developing new solutions and skills in Eco Design, Sustainable Fashion and Craft Design. As President of Between Parallels – Ass. for Design & Sustainable Development, I am focused on reaching out to my peers, people and organisations in interviews, seminars, workshops, sharing professional knowledge; interconnecting eco design practices with traditional industry, developing projects with local crafters and their knowledge.

I am an Assistant Professor at the Engineering School of ESAIP La Salle and an Associated Researcher at GA&P, University of Angers, France. With a Ph.D. in Environmental Science, I specialize in wastewater treatment and clean energy. My strong educational skills include developing engaging curricula and leading hands-on workshops in life cycle assessment (LCA) and sustainable technologies. I am dedicated to empowering students to address environmental challenges.

I am currently serving on the Board of COSCU as President, a global organization committed to transform communities and countries through education and is working on Quality Education for All and is also actively involved in Climate Change, Gender Equality and reducing Inequalities.

As Sustainability Manager at Mykolas Romeris University, I lead initiatives to integrate sustainability across campus. I've improved our UI GreenMetric ranking, implemented energy-saving projects, and expanded international partnerships. My goal is to foster a sustainability culture among our 5,000+ students and staff through education and practical initiatives. I aim to position MRU as a sustainability leader in Lithuanian higher education, bridging academic knowledge with real-world action.

I want to raise awareness about the agri-food system and the need to adapt the food sector to make it more sustainable and how it influences climate change.

I intend to make visible the environmental impact of food waste, its consequences for the planet and people's lives.

I am the founder of Foody- Bulgarian platform dedicated to fighting food waste. I also serve as Youth delegate to the UN. In 2023, I launched "Zero Waste February," a campaign where participants track their CO2 footprint from food waste, sparking climate awareness across social media. I conduct training sessions at universities, schools, and in underserved communities to build understanding around food sustainability and engage groups less familiar with climate action.
