As a lecturer and researcher with an environmental background, I actively engage communities through conferences, lecturers, workshops and design sprints, bringing together young people, researchers, public/city representatives to co-create strategies for climate adaptation. Through education and community engagement I seek to inspire impactful, community-driven climate action and strengthen local resilience.

I am the President of PEN Cyprus and elected member of the International Search Committee of PEN International. I am a poet and writer and I have a permanent column in an esteemed cultural magazine the theme being "In the Streets of the European Union" where I write about European cultural development and will be writing articles on the related activities. I work together with a group of PEN International Centers for the creation of an  Climate Emergency Network.

I am a Global Law student at Tilburg University, hailing from Malta. My passion lies in advocating for a greener, safer, and fairer world. Currently, I am igniting change at the European level as a European Climate Pact Ambassador.

Throughout my term, I am focusing on raising awareness about the invaluable role our natural environments play in our economy and quality of life. I channel this mission through writing articles for a law magazine, exploring the relationship between climate justice and law. Furthermore, I am the host of "Bioeconomy Matters," a podcast available on Spotify as well as other listening platforms. This podcast is more than just a podcast. It aims to be a platform for inspiring change, making bioeconomy a household topic, and unlocking the potential of a greener, more sustainable Europe.

My advocacy extends to social media, under the handle @haileyciantar, where I strive to inspire change and promote environmental and humanitarian justice.

As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I plan to use my experience as a Communication Officer at the European Commission and my background in environmental journalism to make climate science and policy accessible to the public. I aim to write articles that break down complex climate data into understandable insights, fostering an informed dialogue among various stakeholders. Additionally, I intend to organise community events that not only raise awareness but also encourage actionable steps towards sustainability. Through these initiatives, I am committed to building a community that is not just aware but also engaged in climate action.

As a biologist, anthropologist, and climate activist, I dedicate my efforts to environmental protection through hands-on fieldwork. My volunteering focuses on safeguarding biodiversity and preserving rare habitats, directly contributing to the conservation of natural ecosystems. Additionally, I am preparing to support youth education on environmental topics, aiming to inspire and inform the next generation about sustainability and climate action, striving to make a positive impact on our planet.

As a professional ocean and polar photographer, my mission is to raise awareness about the importance of our ocean, scientific research, vulnerability of nature and impact through the use of image. Making science more tangible, visualising what is at stake and by using powerful images as a tool towards different target groups and as a means to bridge the gap between science and policy is an essential part of my work. I present my photos at the highest policy level and for different audiences.

As a passionate environmental activist, I co-created the Eco Showboat project, a flagship climate project in Ireland. The Eco Showboat is a solar electric boat which travelled on lakes, rivers and canals to ignite climate action across the country. Over two years we invited communities to meet us on the waterways and take part in workshops, debates, and artistic events on climate themes, inspiring people to take action, resulting in lasting impact on approach to climate action in Ireland.

I'm deeply focused on how young people can raise their voices effectively in the fight against climate change. I have participated in international UN negotiations on climate and biodiversity as the Danish Youth Delegate UN and the Chair of the Youth Climate Council. My focus is on fostering solutions through intergenerational and cross-sector collaboration, enhancing the political efficacy among youth and pushing for structural changes through the political system. 

I believe the EU Climate Pact is meant to respond to two major issues: the end of the world and the end of the month. Both time frames are represented in the EU by Greta Thunberg and the french Yellow Jacket movement, respectively. 

To me, the best way to miss our goal – to answer both sources of anxiety – is to oppose them.

As an Ambassador, I hope to have the chance to highlight how the EU Climate Pact and local actions can answer both issues and bring every EU citizen together.

I believe that in order to combat climate change, companies must engage with all their co-workers to raise awareness and involve them in the fight. I hope to create tools so that VINCI can train its collaborators in the field on the impact our activities have and the role they play when it comes to protecting our environment.

My mission is to connect business goals with collective needs. Therefore I will create awareness on climate change and ESG in general. One of my main activities is helping companies in their sustainability transitions. I do that by redefining strategies and doing market research. Once the strategy is determined, I help companies to turn their strategies in anto implementable operational plans. In order to create a market and to create awareness, I act as an influencer on climate change, collective needs and circular business models. 

I am an artist and my focus is nature and climate change. My practice is research-based and I make drawings, exhibit, write and give lectures. My work is at the intersection of art and science, I collaborate together with numerous museums, libraries, botanic gardens and scientists to substantiate the factual content of my work and because we share a drive to raise awareness of climate change. I believe that by recognising the beauty of what is around us we are motivated to protect it.

MSc in Urban Water Cycle and over 20 years of experience in environmental education and engineering.I have led international Erasmus+ projects focused on water efficiency, sustainability,and decarbonization, in addition to organizing and participating in scientific events. 

J'aime les gens et l'environnement. J'ai la dette de protejer la nature, de la rendre  saine et sauve aux descendants. J'aime aussi travailler en equipe, avec des differents personnes-adultes, adolescents, eleves. J'aimerais creer une equipe fantastique, pour povoir promouvoir ma croyance, ainsi que nos actions ayent des echos reeles. J'ai planifie des activites diverses:des tables rondes, des manifestations publiques, des formations professionneles, des programmes scolaires aprouves par l'Inspectorat Scolaire, apliques dans les unites scolaires, une methodolgie sur la vulnerabilite/la progression de la resilience des ecosystems devant les effets des changements climatiques, un Club climatique. Dans ces activites seront impliques des professeurs, des eleves, les representants de l'environnement des affaires, les membres de la communautes, les decidents qui pourraient changer,qui ont le pouvoir de decider.

Translation: I love people and the environment. I am committed to protecting nature and returning it safely to its descendants. I also like to work in a team, with different people; adults, teenagers, students. I would like to create a fantastic team so that I can promote my conviction so that our actions have real impacts. I have planned various activities: round tables, public events, professional training, school programmes approved by the School Inspectorate, implemented in school units, a methodolgy on the vulnerability/increasing resilience of ecosystems to the effects of climate change, and a Climate Club. These activities will involve teachers, students, representatives of the business environment, members of the community, residents who have the capacity to change, who have the power to decide.

As a young mother living in one of the most polluted cities in Europe, and in my professional capacity as an energy consumer expert, I have noticed that people are not aware of the simple actions they can implement to reduce their environmental footprint. For instance, when it comes to their domestic energy, many people don't know that they can easily switch to a "green" supplier, or that they can gain in comfort and quality by being more energy efficient. I want to make simple tools accessible to everyone.

I am an activist, columnist, speaker, and podcast co-host focusing on law, sustainability, and communication. My work emphasizes social and environmental sustainability, engaging vulnerable communities through workshops and projects. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I aim to raise awareness of just transition issues and explore the intersectionality of the climate crisis, ensuring that diverse voices are included in climate action discussions.

As a librarian, I have been active in the field of non-formal education for many years, and have initiated and coordinated the Reading Goals UN SDG book club to raise awareness and comprehension on how people can effect change. More people need to experience and learn about the significance of conservation, the value of a sustainable future, and the need to make responsible decisions. Environmental education must be promoted in our institutions, workplaces, and communities.

I’m Liam J. Coyle, a Strategy Consultant at KPMG Ireland and a Climate Ambassador with An Taisce. Growing up on a family farm, I’ve seen firsthand the impacts of climate change. My goals as an Ambassador are to enhance climate literacy, empower action, and protect biodiversity. Key commitments include creating social media posts on biodiversity, speaking on climate issues, lecture students on sustainability, and making a media appearance to raise climate awareness.

Climate action is driven by community empowerment and financial education. I have been active in my community for years to engage residents, particularly children, in financial education that could foster actionable climate solutions. I deem that integrating discussions on sustainability within sports events will make complex issues accessible to all people, young and older, and will engage them easily. The goal is to create a routine of climate engagement that builds momentum and awareness.
