This year, I will continue to learn with my students about how to think about the future, in order to meet the major challenges we face in the fight against climate change. Shared knowledge will give us the tools to deal with uncertainty, eco-anxiety, the speed at which changes in society and the international order are occurring, and to come up with responses to the global crisis of climate change. To achieve these results, I commit myself as a person and as a teacher to continue studying and learning from what science, technology, experience and our society teach us in order to reverse climate change and achieve a sustainable model of life in peace with nature.

Former Research Director of the National Research Council (CNR), Head of the Secondary Section and Senior Associate Researcher at the Water Research Institute (IRSA-CNR) of Brugherio (MB), for around 40 years he has been involved in studies on the climate of glacial areas and high and low altitude alpine lakes, of circulation of pollutants in lakes and rivers and for about thirty years of acid rain. From 1989 to 2015 he participated in the construction and management of networks of meteorological monitoring stations in the Himalayas and Karakorum and for over two decades he has dedicated himself to the creation of databases of river and lake water bodies. Since December 2020 he has been Ambassador of the European Climate Pact, and was recently the founder of the EuCliPa.IT APS Association, of which he is currently the secretary. He is the author of over 190 publications, 100 of which in international journals, and conducts editorial review of scientific articles.

I am responsible for sustainable development for the rubber industry in France. I support manufacturers on climate-related topics : greenhouse gas mitigation, eco-design, water, energy, deforestation, etc. I work at both the national and European levels to help manufacturers move towards a more sustainable future. I strive to engage as many people as possible in creating a world that operates sustainably, particularly through awareness-raising, organizing events, and sharing knowledge.

As an Ambassador of EU Green Deal, I am focusing on policies adapted to small urban areas. Specifically, I will dedicate my work to assessing carbon sinks, protecting forests and their biodiversity, promoting mountain communities and developing remote areas. Also, sustainable mobility, clean energy generation and awareness raising are amongst my immediate interests.

I am part of several associations that strive for climate justice, providing public commentary and legal support in climate litigation, while finishing a degree in International and European Law, researching differences between the EU and US climate industrial transition. I am Secretary-General of JEF Portugal and legal advisor to ZERO climate association, and was General Coordinator of ECTA, Youth Delegate to the World Forum of Democracy and President of the National Council of Law Students.

As an Ambassador, I am deeply committed to catalysing and pollinating impactful change in the fight against fossil fueled climate change. My mission is to set an inspiring example by transitioning my historic-designated home to solar energy, doubling my fossil-fuel-free kilometers through cargo biking, advocating for community solar and improved cycling infrastructure in Luxembourg, and supporting sustainable agriculture. I aim to promote sustainable practices, policy advocacy, and community engagement to create a greener, more resilient future for all. Together, we can tackle the pressing climate challenges of our time.

People, Planet, Prosperity and Purpose. The year is 2021. As humanity we've created a situation where none of these quadruple bottom-line impacts are addressed holistically, across either the environmental or social dimensions. The only way to counteract this trend is through positive community action and education. We need a global mindset for these global problems, that our generation now must address. Happy to share my knowledge and support those wanting to make a positive impact.

I am a youth worker, project manager at GEYC, as well as an environmental activist. My mission is to drive change through the power of example and empower the youth to engage in opportunities, transitioning towards a more sustainable way of living. I actively contribute to raising awareness about climate change and as a Climate Pact Ambassador, I aim to facilitate more workshops on sustainability topics to build the youth's knowledge and green skills for a more resilient and open-minded future.

I am co-founder of Safe Playgroinds Association. My aim is to help provide a better environment for play and sport. I additionally with to promote outdoor learning, active citizenship and to motivate human connections with the nature. I am planning to participate in family events and to show how to turn waste into value through games and interactive activities. I believe that environmental education should start from a very early age and it is our own responsibility to educate conscious and active people. I am taking part in many schools projects, raising students awareness about recycling, climate protection and biodiversity.

Together with my colleagues from the Association we will organise a few of our own events/ initiatives to clean the area around us, grow plants and involve people in sports activities, placemaking. I will use my own and the Association's media channels to spread focused information related to climate change and environmental protection.

I am CEO of Music Declares Emergency Denmark and as so part of an international movement for climate action. I have worked in the music industry for more than 25 years and have devoted my professional career to accelerate the green transition within the music business. I am committed to creating space for permanent and necessary changes and put pressure on both my own industry and the political arena.

Researcher in coal transitions network and in The DCN Southeast Europe Hub. Effective communication and informed policy-making have never been more crucial in the action on the climate crisis. As an European Climate Pact Ambassador my aim is to develop a network of all the interested stakeholders to transfer the knowledge of the European Green Deal  and increase the capacities for people’s better green well-being through the exchange of best environmental practices/policies.

As the founder of Preflet, an energy-efficiency startup, I contribute to climate-change mitigation by enabling existing buildings to reduce their carbon footprint through AI-driven optimization—resulting in measurable Scope 4 avoided emissions. With a decade of experience in Fortune 500 companies, I have led energy-efficiency, sustainability, and digitalization projects across multiple EU countries and beyond.

I am sustainability and circular economy expert, working professionally as delivery leader of philanthropic sustainability projects for 3 years. I am deeply connected to my home-city, participating and leading multiple professional volunteering activities - related to opening new re-use center. As a Climate pact ambassador my activities would co-exist with the activities of re-use center ambassador, but would give me resources and network to enhance the common impact.

As ECP Ambassador I will inspire young future generations spreading awareness about our impact in climate change under the idea of environment as our home. I will give talks in public institutions as schools about the importance of environment and biodiversity conservation fields. In order to motivate others I will use my social media to create impact, inform and advise about how we can take action individually. I cook sustainable recipes and support local businesses and international ONG´s.

I am Olivier Torfs, a passionate young entrepreneur and digital marketer dedicated to advancing sustainability in my community. As a Pact Ambassador, I plan to organize impactful events with the Belgian Climate Pact, engage youth through my initiative, Changemakers Unite, and develop workshops for meaningful climate action. My commitment includes mentoring young facilitators to drive concrete sustainability initiatives. Together, we can inspire positive change and empower others to take action.

Knowledge is a key issue in climate action. For years I have been carrying out outreach work in schools in Jerez de la Frontera, my city, initiating and a wide range of activities aimed at raising awareness and understanding about meteorological phenomena, meteorology and climate change.

I am a seconded teacher (biologist) at the European School Brussels III and come from the educational system of Greece.

I am highly specialized in environmental education, while my studies focus on the environment and for 7 years I was the director of the environmental education center in Philippi.

I think that as an educator but also as an environmentalist I can be useful in the effort to raise awareness about climate change.

Measures to support climate action are often discussed on an expert level, missing the day-to-day activities of people.  I have been active in raising awareness about the proliferation of digitalization, its potential to enhance sustainability and combat climate change and promoting the sharing economy. I want to emphasize that social inclusion in digital capabilities allows equal opportunities and resources for communities to participate in diverse perspectives of sustainable practices. 

As a climate pact ambassador, I would like to create spaces for discourse in the context of the climate crisis. since we are dealing with a complex, unclear, ambiguous global problem with drastic and unfairly distributed consequences, it is important to bring people back into dialogue and joint action. I see art as one way of doing this.

Art is inherently ambiguous and requires personal involvement. It is capable of juxtaposing different perspectives and creating collaborative moments. I would like to use this potential in the field of education to train art teachers for the future who can deal with the ecological crisis in a meaningful way and go into schools as multipliers.

I see my task as an art educator in a holistic education that creates networks and relationships between human beings and with the world through the means of art.
