My role will be crucial in promoting climate action and sustainability at the local and regional levels, and I will undertake various activities to inspire and engage individuals, communities, and organisations in the fight against climate change. Activities will include:

o Organising awareness campaigns and workshops to educate people about the impacts of climate change and the importance of sustainability

o Lobbying policymakers to implement climate-friendly policies

o Collaborating with environmental organisations and community groups on climate action initiatives

o Working with educational institutions to integrate climate and sustainability topics into their curricula and organise environmental awareness activities for students

o Encouraging businesses and industries to adopt sustainable practices, reduce emissions, and implement eco-friendly technologies

o Advocating for the principles of a circular economy, including reducing waste, reusing materials, and recycling

o Speaking at climate-related conferences.

As an Ambassador of the Climate Pact primarily I will focus on education about climate change and how to act to restore the balance in nature.

I will continue speaking to schools, students, and youth about the Climate Reality and how we can act together for better climate.

I will also educate about all the 17 Sustainable Development Goals for 2017- 2030.

My plan is to reach out to local and national networks, expand my current contacts in the Mediterranean region and deliver awareness and motivation speeches and training, organize events and conferences, publish articles in relevant magazines and online portals. As I am already active in such tasks, I will have the chance to further promote the Climate Pact goals. As my University is also part of a European University, this will also be exploited.

As sustainability researcher, I am at the forefront of what we know – and don’t know – about the climate and biodiversity crisis and want to communicate this in ways that enable educated decisions and effective action. We need to help people see the steps they can take towards a greener future.

One important, but often contentious issue is food. That’s why, as Climate Pact Ambassador, I’m focusing on presenting and discussing sustainable – and delicious – transformation pathways on our plates.

Another exciting opportunity is working with games, as they are now a dominant form of entertainment. They can be used as tool to communicate ambitious climate goals and the need for action through their stories and messages. At the same time, small improvements in the underlying technology can have vast impacts on their electricity demand. That's why it's important to engage both with the gaming and the developer communities.

My work is currently focused on influencing policy and current politics, connecting sectors, nudging behavior and conducting research with the goal that Sweden’s transport sector reaches its climate goal by 2030. More precisely: lower its carbon emissions by 70% by 2030 compared to 2010. As an ambassador, through my work and in collaboration with the Swedish transport sector throughout the year I will create opportunities for solutions-sharing, connect actors and politicians to influence politics and form policy, raise awareness of the positive side effects of being a frontrunner and make the public as well as our politicians aware of the positive achievements we need to scale up, as well as the obstacles we need to eliminate.

As a law student and young climate activist, I am fighting for more climate justice in this world.

I try to do this at both the local level, on the board of Leuven 2030, and at the international level, as one of the Belgian United Nations youth representatives on Sustainable Development. I advocate among others for less fossil fuels and more climate education. Together with other engaged citizens, I organise climate strikes and cultural climate projects to raise awareness. Panel discussions and lectures also help to achieve this goal.

When we work together we can make the unthinkable possible. Climate justice, now!

As a social scientist, I am doing research on climate migration, and I am teaching on climate change and its impacts. As a citizen and father, I believe that we need to push - and that we can do so - for transformational change on many levels, from the local to the global. In my home town of Bonn, I am part of a citizen group campaigning for climate action. As an Ambassador, I want to find further starting points for our institutions and governments to move into a carbon-neutral world.

I am really passionate about sustainability, I am trying to live a low-impact lifestyle. Through my platform as a sustainability “influencer” and through my company I work to inspire people and companies to learn more and to take action against climate change. Becoming an Ambassador of the European Climate Pact would give me a bigger platform to reach more people - as here in Bulgaria we have many miles to go. I share the values of the Pact, I firmly believe in the science-based approach.

My scope of activity as an ambassador involves organising educational activities such as presentations and workshops on various topic that are related to the European Green Deal. My mission as a climate community leader is to connect people that are willing to be the part of the change. Alongside other activities, I create climate content on my social media with the main aim of spreading awareness and sharing information about the current challenges. 

I would like to encourage the young people to become part of the healing process to our planet. 

Their creativity and energy shall be navigated by awareness of the climate and result in responsible consumption and appreciation of nature. 

Through the Arts we would like to reach out and to foster the ability to enjoy and preserve our beautiful planet.

I am a high school student and aspiring ecologist working to dispell climate anxiety and engage fellow youth into the highest impact climate action they are capable of. I am a founder of a youth nature club and a member of the Romanian Ornithological Society.

I am a windsurfer, water sports instructor and a product designer. My passion for water sports connected me deeply with the sea and directed my focus towards ocean literacy and environmental protection. I strongly believe that outdoor sports can educate people more about environment and climate change. My planned activity as an ambassador is to raise awareness about the connection between ocean sustainability and climate change in Bulgaria.

I am an environmentalist with a personal and professional interest in sustainability. I work in the environmental NGO Baltic Environmental Forum Latvia and my specialities are strategic planning, sustainable mobility, sustainable consumption and environmental communication.

Instead of a few environmental activists who are performing on an excellent level, let's have millions of thoose who are starting with small actions! 

I am an ecologist with a unique passion. My work goes beyond researching and safeguarding biodiversity; I am on a mission to ignite people's interest in nature. With a background in storytelling and ecology, my aim is to help everyone understand the vital link between nature and our well-being.

My strategy is simple: create connections. I organise community activities, immersive field trips, and leverage social media to reveal the wonders of the natural world. Through these avenues, I emphasise that even small efforts can make a significant impact.

My message is clear: our existence depends on the balance of nature. By fostering a personal connection between individuals and the environment, I believe I can spark a movement to protect our planet. In a world facing increasing environmental threats, I use my storytelling and ecological expertise not just for promoting nature, but to hopfeully inspire others to protect our planet.

My activities will focus on supporting local governments and non-governmental organizations through: substantive training and workshops, environmental education and financing activities aimed at preventing climate change and minimizing its negative effects. I will encourage Mazovian cities to participate in the 'Green Cities' program. Moreover, I will disseminate knowledge and good practices of the "From farm to table" strategy in rural areas.

I grew up on the beautiful Caribbean coast of Mexico, a place that shaped my strong love for the environment. Living there, I witnessed firsthand the challenges of environmental degradation and the consequences of climate change. These experiences ignited my interest in sustainable development and the idea of just transitions. I am passionate about making a positive impact, both in my community and on a broader scale. I have a particular interest in contributing to the European Union's goals of addressing climate change, recognising them as a key player in international climate action.
