Serving as Scientific Project Manager of the EU-funded Innovative Training Network NEWAVE 'Next Water Governance'. As Network of excellence, we aim at brining together water governance organisations from both the academic and extra-academic sector, training a new generation of water governance early stage researchers (ESRs) and future water leaders, to develop and implement a cutting-edge actionable research agenda on the key water governance priorities and insights for future directions.

Always curious and never tired to learn with others. I believe education is key to face our sustainability challenges, to create positive connections and build together a better world. Environmental engineer by training, I strecth my work across different disciplines in the water sector. My goal is to understand the multiple relationships that communities have with water, and advocate for a socially just and fair access to water resources. I wish to build new connections through the Pact and join forces towards its important high aims.

I am a teacher. My activity as an ambassador will take place in the school to educate the new generations on sustainable development and the fight against climate change. My goal will be to inform and sensitize the people of my territory about the problem of climate change and their solutions. I would like to carry out activities in the school and in the social: debates research clean up walks parades exhibitions workshops readings tree plantings.

An entrepreneur, global citizen, humanist, environmental activist, basically incurable optimist who believes that we must act now as a second to noon if we all want to give a chance to our children to enjoy in colors of nature as previous generations. A true Global Citizen, active promoter for widening of ideal of borderless global citizenship as only true model for real humanitarian-oriented future. Climate is everyone's problem and we all must do our best to solve it.

I am Nicolae, a Romanian living in Copenhagen, Denmark. I work as a software developer and I am passionate about learning and volunteering in permaculture and organic farming. I have a strong ambition to help develop and support solutions that use nature to heal the planet and develop a more sustainable society. As Ambassador of the European Climate Pact, I will contribute through my volunteer work as a Journalist for the Danish Startup Group to interview and write articles about the work of Danish Startups in contributing to the goals of the Pact. I am also creating content for the gaming communities on Twitch and YouTube as Restonik where I will educate and inspire taking climate action. 

Based on my experience and contacts in the EU and Finnish politics and on my roles as the President of the Helsinki- Uusimaa Region and the Chair of the Board of the Espoo City, I can influence and support the Finnish activities to reach the global forerunner goals in tackling climate change and creating new solutions to reach SDG targets. I can create many useful contacts in Brussels. I will arrange my activities to be based on collaboration and operating in teams and networks.

As the owner of the first zero-waste online store in Bulgaria, I would like to use my knowledge and skills to help people reduce waste at home and at work. I am planning to achieve that by educating the audience about the principles of the Zero Waste Movement and providing concrete tips on how each one of us can reduce their waste. I will focus on organising lectures on waste reduction, local clean-ups, initiatives about planting trees and flowers and organising upcycling workshops.I am also the author of the book "Menstruation from A to Z".

Growing up among four generations of farmers, Mena learned early that true food production is about harmony with the land and respect for nature. Her university years deepened her passion through environmental activism and global ecosystem projects. With a PhD in Maghreb Cultures and master’s degrees in Business Sustainability, she combines ethics, innovation, and practicality to inspire farmers to regenerate soil and protect the planet for future generations.

As the CEO of Element and the European Training Program Manager at INSP, I focus on developing strategies and frameworks that empower leaders and organizations to navigate crises and adapt to challenges, especially in the context of climate change. My work on crisis management emphasizes a "small wins" approach, which I believe is essential for achieving sustainable and impactful change.
 

Having worked for the EU until now, I would like to bring positive change on climate and environment in my country, Spain, and my region, Valencia. I intend to connect international and EU policy on climate and environment with action at local level; and engage with local authorities in the implementation of the EU recovery plan. I will engage in social media, teach and write articles on the European Green Deal; and organise activities on Mediterranean, forests, biodiversity & green buildings

I am a high school student in Paris and a member of the association FridaysForFuture France since 2023. I have organised and participated to many projects like climate strikes or collaborative mobilisations with other assocations. I have also been part of many conferences like the Climate Reality Project from Al Gore in mars 2025. I have also been involved in my school as an "eco-déléguée" and wish to continue this way for the year that comes as an European Climate Pact Ambassador. 

I am a climate advocate and member of the Observatorio de Acción Climática, dedicated to advancing education, inclusion and public awareness on sustainability. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I aim to foster global dialogue and strengthen climate literacy through digital campaigns, workshops and storytelling initiatives connecting diverse communities, particularly in the Mediterranean area.

I have devoted my life to the preservation of Mother Earth. That´s why I am the founder and President of Sustenta Foundation, which traces back to 2008. We have run 30 project of social awareness of climate emergency reaching out 20.000 people on-site. Oceans are vital in regulating our climate, yet many are unaware of the challenges they face. I’m passionate about connecting communities with science because understanding leads to love, and when we love something, we protect it. As a Pact Ambassador, I’ll bridge the gap between the public and experts. By fostering dialogue, I aim to inspire action and cultivate a culture of stewardship for our oceans. Together, we can make a difference!

I am a climate educator and advocate based in Helsinki, working to strengthen climate literacy and community action across Europe. As Co-Founder of the Climate Reality Project Europe’s Climate Justice Training, I have helped train hundreds to lead just climate solutions. As an Ambassador, I aim to expand interactive workshops in Finland and across Europe, fostering collaboration, awareness, and practical local action for a sustainable future.

As an engineer, former policymaker and now sustainability manager, I have worked in sustainability for almost a decade.
As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I aim to use systems thinking to spread awareness of climate policy and action across a variety of different stakeholders.
A natural community builder, my focus is to popularize science-based climate action in Europe through my community engagement and podcast "Sostenibilità Italiana" (Italian Sustainability), with a focus on gender equality and equity.

I am an experienced climate, social-ecological organiser, political activist with record dating back to 2010 when I happened to be the main coordinator and speaker during the Prague Critical Mass events by AutoMat.
I have spent time reshaping Prague sustainability policies, preserving the historical downtown of Prague, co-leading the Greens in Prague and Czechia and helping them to get back their voice in the media.

As an Ambassador, I am dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability through my passions and expertise. I create engaging social media content focused on sustainable living, sharing practical tips and inspiring stories to help individuals live aligned with their values. Additionally, I organize in-person events that foster community involvement and educate participants about eco-friendly practices. With my upcycling fashion brand, I demonstrate the value of repurposing materials and reducing waste in the fashion industry. Through these combined efforts, I aim to inspire collective action towards a greener, more sustainable future.

Beside my PhD in Environmental and Energy Engineering and my role in the city Council, I commit on a daily basis to making lower impact choices. But I am not convinced that we will be able to fight the climate crisis if we leave the responsibility to the goodwill of virtuous citizens. Only by turning the crisis into an opportunity to improve the quality of life of people, can we hope to suceed. I believe we need to be ambitious, practical, concrete, coherent, and to use a science based approach.

I AM A NATURALIST AND I PRACTICE AS AN ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATOR, CULTURAL BROADCAST, AND NATURE GUIDE. I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN CIVIL SOCIETY THROUGH VOLUNTARY ENVIRONMENTAL WORK FOR OVER TWENTY YEARS. I AM ALSO THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE PLEMMIRIO MARINE PROTECTED AREA IN SYRACUSE. I AM ALSO THE REGIONAL COORDINATOR FOR SICILY OF THE FEDERPARCHI EUROPARC ITALIA ASSOCIATION, AND MY WORK WILL FOCUS ON PUBLIC EDUCATION ACTIVITIES.
