As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I'm planning to fulfill my mission by advocating policy decisions that will help to protect the environment and increase the usage of green energy. I also aim to raise the climate emergency and environmental awareness by contacting other members of society through all kinds of, especially online, platforms. My main motivation is to make sure the future generations live in a green world where issues like global warming are not a problem.

My ambition is to raise awareness on climate-related topics, giving emphasis on the social-environmental impact of climate change and the importance of society's participation in the efforts for climate change mitigation.

People, Planet, Prosperity and Purpose. The year is 2021. As humanity we've created a situation where none of these quadruple bottom-line impacts are addressed holistically, across either the environmental or social dimensions. The only way to counteract this trend is through positive community action and education. We need a global mindset for these global problems, that our generation now must address. Happy to share my knowledge and support those wanting to make a positive impact.

I am a professional footballer for FC Union Berlin and the Norwegian National Team. I'm also the creator and founder of We Play Green (2020), an independent, player-driven, non-profit organisation whose mission is to mobilise the global football family in supporting the Green Shift.

The Green Shift is possible and urgently needed, but it is short on public support. I believe that football can help save the planet and mankind since it is the world's largest social phenomenon, and football players are the world's most influential people.

Therefore, with my organisation, I hope to create a movement that mobilises all 5 billion football family members which includes the grassroots, players, clubs, communities, businesses, institutions, and decision-makers in supporting the Green Shift.

As an ambassador I want to make visible all the hundreds of best practice examples that already exist. Furthermore, I want to encourage organizations to connect their existing activities and foster new ones to reach different people in our diverse society. Altogether, we have to reach a majority of people and assist them in their personal transition. It needs time for the people to get engaged and we need ways of encouraging people to take this time.

I plan to fulfill the Ambassador's mission by tapping into a network of civic leaders engaged in academia, business, and public life. The message is that Climate Change needs to be at the heart of initiatives if we are to preserve the world as we know it today. Each part of society needs to play a role. The central mission is one of education to raise awareness. Mobilising the community of leaders then leads to a growing number of engaged and passionate followers.

I work in a number of EU projects looking at the effects of micro & nanoplastics on human health; using novel enzymes for greener consumer products and sustainability; and recovering toxic pharmaceuticals from wastewater. I communicate the latest developments and findings to different audiences and engage people so that their views can be heard. I plan to fulfil the Ambassador's mission by reaching out to people, providing scientifically sound knowledge, and interconnecting different entities.

Researcher in coal transitions network and in The DCN Southeast Europe Hub. Effective communication and informed policy-making have never been more crucial in the action on the climate crisis. As an European Climate Pact Ambassador my aim is to develop a network of all the interested stakeholders to transfer the knowledge of the European Green Deal  and increase the capacities for people’s better green well-being through the exchange of best environmental practices/policies.

As ECP Ambassador I will inspire young future generations spreading awareness about our impact in climate change under the idea of environment as our home. I will give talks in public institutions as schools about the importance of environment and biodiversity conservation fields. In order to motivate others I will use my social media to create impact, inform and advise about how we can take action individually. I cook sustainable recipes and support local businesses and international ONG´s.

As a young professional specialized in climate-related risks and sustainable finance, I help financial firms understanding the risks and opportunities arising from climate change.

Besides my job, I collaborate with online magazines and take part in local initiatives fostering action towards a sustainable future.

I strongly believe that tackling emerging risks, promoting transformative finance flows, and spreading awareness are key steps to achieve a just transition.

I am a seconded teacher (biologist) at the European School Brussels III and come from the educational system of Greece.

I am highly specialized in environmental education, while my studies focus on the environment and for 7 years I was the director of the environmental education center in Philippi.

I think that as an educator but also as an environmentalist I can be useful in the effort to raise awareness about climate change.

As an industrial Engineering Student and a young 21-year old person, I do believe it's high time to engage myself in a more concrete way to fight for what has always been one of my major preoccupation.

I was involved, as a Physics teacher, in many European project regarding scientific and environmental topics.

Environment and climate changes are the hard issues that will affect next generation.

I believe important to increase consciousness and attention of youth generation on these issues giving them instruments to understand better the phenomena.

Collaborating with local institutions and schools, I intend to organise events to increase awareness in youtht and citizen about climate issue.

As Ambassador, I will work to educate young people about climate change and how they can contribute to positive change. 

I will use my creative abilities and position as a journalist for this purpose and the application I am developing with the team. 

The desire to change the habits of my fellow citizens and point out the effects of climate change and pollution on our health motivated me to apply. 

I will use this position responsibly, with a clear goal and an action plan.

As president of Košice Self-governing Region I promote and support green solutions and that's why we adopted The Landscape Recovery Program. The main aim is to increase biodiversity in the region. Moreover we are open to apply new hydrogen technologies and support decorbonization of the region which is in risking numbers. I am eager to exchange knowledge at EU level as a member of CoR and vicepresident of ENVE Commissions with experts from the whole of Europe.

I would like to share my experience and my passion related to the issues of both energy efficiency and the conscious and flexible management of energy in buildings, with particular attention to energy communities.

I want to ensure that energy is a shared and exchangeable good, allowing everyone to play an active and informed role leveraging digital technologies.

More is different! And this is why I want to develop awareness and connect people in the design of a new city image.
