As a climate activist and environmental communicator, I have spent the last 9 years promoting climate justice through Greenpeace, channeling my energy into the fight for a healthier and more just planet. My passion is of ecofeminism and agroecology, working toward solutions that empower communities and connect science, society, and politics. Eco-anxiety led me to find my purpose in environmental communication, and as a Ambassador, I aim to inspire actions tackling the climate crisis justly.

I am the Mayor of Folgaria, a mountain town in the Italian Alps. My commitment to the climate will be based above all on the promotion and research of systems and methods tailored to the mountains and small communities. I will try to build networks with other ambassadors and joint projects.

I am an earth scientist and educator - BSc (Joint Honours) Geography and Geology and MBA Educational Management) - who has taught in a diverse range of schools for over thirty years.  I now live and work in Austria, working mainly with Austrian schools, promoting environmental sustainability education through residential experiences in Austria, taught in English.  I would like to promote and develop my work to a wider audience of young people and their teachers.

With my experience in event management and eco-responsibility, I'd like to bring solutions and above all change the consciences of organizers and companies.
With a playful, guilt-free approach, we can change people's minds.
As a part of the Pact, I'd love to exchange ideas with the other Ambassadors, so that everyone's skills can be pooled and consciences changed together.
I'd also like to be able to help with my technical and logistical vision of event organization.

I work for the Finnish Red Cross HQ as an Advocacy and Communication Expert. For a number of years already I have actively given talks on issues related to climate change, having reached some thousands of listeners both face-to-face and on-line, in Finland mostly, but also abroad.

My motivation comes from having, during the past 15 years or so, studied the plethora of predictions for alternative futures, and realizing that unless things are urgently done, we may face the ugliest of these.

Being an ambassador is a great honor. I want to change the IT landscape to make a notable contribution to its sustainability goals and also employ the capabilities of the IT industry to facilitate change. I will use this role to:

* Inform people about the shortcomings but also opportunities of IT with regards sustainability

* Make people working in IT aware of their huge responsibility and influence on the distribution of information and use of resources, so they can make more fair and sustainable decisions

* Suggest (and where possible implement) practices to improve sustainability in IT (companies)

* Use the tools and resources available to me to support my community for conscious IT in their endeavour to make IT more sustainable and fair.

* Start projects that use IT skills to further sustainability goals by informing the public, making sustainable choices more accessible or replacing less sustainable processes

As Ambassador I’ll have a wide range of responsibilities dedicated to stimulate people about the environment. Each task will be carried out with the goal to maximise the participation of different categories of people. A special attention will be dedicated to students. In my activity I’ve many classes in which I use to give a green touch to all the lectures.

I want to be: creative, expressive, unstructured, nonconforming, innovative, energetic, enthusiastic and optimistic.

The only way to ensure that we change the way we think and thereby change our practices from an environmental point of view is with the support and commitment of mayors. Although national and European policies are important to guarantee the means, the truth is that it is the mayors who interact with people every day who can change behaviour and thereby seriously change our impact on the planet.

I work at the intersection of innovation, sustainability and healthcare. I collaborate with startups and institutions to develop strategic models for the green transition, focusing on the economic measurability of environmental impact.

As an EU Climate Pact Ambassador, I promote awareness and interdisciplinary projects supporting sustainability.

Climate change is our first challange. We need to take action at the European and local level. How to do it?

1. Engagaging of local communities: create a local network thorughout a 'manifesto to promote the local green deal'
2. Involving associations, enterprises and citizens to monitor the commitment of the local government in climate change actions.
3. Organise events with concrete proposals using the democratic tools existing at a municipal level to fight for climate.

Climate justice cannot be achieved without young voices leading critical conversations. I am a climate advocate from Spain aiming to bridge the gap between youth and international climate decision-making spaces, with a focus on gender equity. As part of Care About Climate, I have developed educational digital media breaking down climate policies and UN resolutions. I was also one of the 4 youth selected to attend COP29 in Baku as part of the Spanish Youth Delegation. 

As a former journalist, I saw societies thrown into change overnight. From the far corners of the former Soviet Union all the way to South Europe in the Eurozone crises. When change is in the air—who emerges and brings people together, creates trust in the other and in the future, and boosts individual or collective agency? With this question in mind, I engage regional shapers, entrepreneurs, academics on the European Green Deal. This, after all, is the largest change project of our time.

Creating policies for sustainable urban development with the Agenda 2030 and the SDGs as a framework of sustainable development. One of the objectives of this ambassadorial role is to strengthen the representation of cities at national and European level by promoting specific activities in each country in cooperation with the 'Covenant of Mayors' and mobilizing other entities to join this movement. This is also an opportunity to improve this pact by obtaining personalized feedback from the territories, reinforcing their role in the implementation of the European Climate Pact.

As a pragmatist, I do not question our economic system but work on its ecological transformation - for the benefit of us all.

As an ambassador, my mission will focus on fostering environmental awareness, promoting the dissemination and democratization of knowledge about the ecological crisis, and highlighting the crucial role that young people play in the fight against climate change and in the pursuit of climate justice.

I will leverage my platforms of action to contribute to the development of the European Climate Pact and disseminate the essential knowledge required to establish an environmental culture that adequately addresses the ecological and climate challenges we face.

An activist for the protection of our planet since my adolescence, I try to raise awareness and gather people around the fight against global warming. I am convinced that it is together that we will make the difference. For that purpose, through associations that I coordinate, I carry out awareness projects in schools, advocate with our political representatives and create conferences on the subject. Thanks to a long trip outside Europe, I promised myself to make Europeans aware in one way or another that climate protection is everyone’s responsibility and that it goes beyond our continental borders. I will also support many campaigns especially for a more responsible agriculture and the one for the protection of our precious ocean.

As an ambassador, I would love to develop the projects I already undertake but above all I would love to be able to share, via social networks, new narratives as I endeavour to do on a daily basis. It is important to reconsider our relationship to nature.

As a Climate Pact Ambassador I will use my platform as program host, moderator and key note speaker to highlight the Pact and push for climate action in all pillars of society. 

I am the founder of Bloom & Flow, a sustainability consulting and auditing company focused on water stewardship and nature conservation, and a PhD candidate at ENGEES. As an Ambassador, I will work with NGOs and socially driven companies to develop water stewardship strategies, conduct water risk assessments, and create biodiversity action plans. I aim to help organizations adopt sustainable practices, protect natural resources, and enhance climate resilience in their communities.
