Erasmus University, in collaboration with the City of Rotterdam and Future Energy Leaders of the Netherlands, cordially invites you to attend our Masterclass Series, which is tailored for students and citizens. The Masterclasses are part of the World Energy Congress Side Activities.

Join us for an enlightening rendezvous with energy experts and learn the ingredients needed for a sustainable energy future for generations to come. This pre-event will set the scene and prepare you for the 26th World Energy Congress, giving you some foundational information about the Congress's thematic areas in a way that is simplified, easy to understand, and relatable to you as a citizen or student.

In this half-day journey alongside industry experts, you will delve into the practical realms of energy. Discover what it truly means to become a solution enabler and explore pathways to participate, contribute, or pursue a career in the dynamic field of energy. Our masterclasses promise an enriching exploration spanning from cutting-edge technology and innovation to meaningful citizen engagement.

This Masterclass series is tailored to students, citizens, and energy enthusiasts seeking to broaden their knowledge of energy.

Objectives:
 
Empowerment of Future Leaders: Demystify the conversation around energy, making it relatable and easy to understand. Provide foundational knowledge to inspire and motivate students and citizens to become agents of change in the transition towards sustainable energy solutions.

Community Engagement: Engage citizens and students by providing them with the practical information necessary to contribute effectively to the energy sector, whether through employment, entrepreneurship, or advocacy.
