The Network of Renewable and Solidarity Energy Communities of Rome and Lazio (CERS) is a non-profit Third Sector organisation bringing together over 17 community energy initiatives across the Lazio region. It connects citizens, local associations and public institutions to co-create renewable energy solutions and promote a fair and inclusive energy transition.

The network supports communities in developing energy cooperatives that produce and share renewable electricity, reinvesting local revenues in social, environmental and educational projects. It also carries out advocacy and dialogue with public administrations to promote citizen participation in climate policies and shared governance models.

Through collaboration with universities and civic movements, CERS monitors social and environmental impacts and fosters civic mutualism, energy democracy and local resilience.
