Green Liberty (“Zaļā brīvība” in Latvian) is a non-profit, Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) established in 1993, dedicated to fostering a society where individuals coexist harmoniously with each other and the environment. The organisation actively promotes its mission through a variety of initiatives, including press briefings, conferences, exhibitions, public lectures, and online campaigns.

Green Liberty publishes valuable environmental information and conducts studies on socio-environmental issues, focusing on sustainable development, fair trade, climate, energy, and waste management. Additionally, it engages the public with cultural and environmental actions, encouraging community involvement and building awareness.

Advocacy is another key aspect of Green Liberty's work, as it seeks to influence government policies to ensure that sustainable development and environmental considerations are integrated across various sectoral policies. Through these efforts, Green Liberty aims to inspire and empower individuals and communities to adopt sustainable lifestyles and practices.
