Klimatorium is a non-profit climate innovation centre located in Lemvig, on Denmark's West Coast. It serves as a meeting point for civil society, authorities, businesses, and educational institutions to collaborate on climate challenges, focusing on prevention, adaptation, and lifestyle changes. Using the Quadruple Helix model, Klimatorium integrates these four sectors into all its projects to foster holistic, sustainable solutions.
Klimatorium emphasises collaborative approaches to tackling climate issues, with all projects showcased and made accessible to the public. Its in-house exhibition is open to everyone free of charge, making climate action visible and engaging for the broader community.
By facilitating discussions and driving innovation, Klimatorium helps make climate solutions more tangible and achievable for all stakeholders involved. This inclusive approach enhances public awareness and contributes to practical and scalable climate solutions that involve research institutions, civil society, the private – as well as the public sector.
