CER Sustainable Business Network is the largest sustainable business network in Slovenia, bringing together over 100 companies, distinguished experts, and international organisations. Established in 2012 as a private non-profit institute, CER focuses on encouraging companies towards sustainable business and green transformation. Its mission is to advocate for ambitious, decisive, and responsible approaches to addressing the climate crisis.
CER's work is built on four pillars:
- advocacy;
- informing and capacity building;
- networking;
- innovation.
CER actively participates in national and international projects and awareness campaigns, while also developing its own initiatives, such as the Green Star certification, which promotes the implementation of sustainable Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) principles and climate action in business operations. It connects companies across industries, fostering collaboration through specialised sections where knowledge and innovation are shared to create a business environment that supports green technologies. Additionally, CER plays a key role in public debates and strategic decisions to accelerate the green transition.
