AURORA

Project AURORA is a dynamic and forward-thinking citizen science project aimed at revolutionising energy consumption and awareness across Europe. With a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, AURORA focuses on engaging and empowering citizens to take active roles in the energy transition, promoting sustainable behaviours through innovative citizen science practices.

The project operates in five European countries (Denmark, England, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain), integrating local communities, universities, and disadvantaged areas into a cohesive effort to reduce carbon footprints and foster energy-efficient behaviours. AURORA leverages a mix of technology, community-driven initiatives, and educational programmes to encourage a transition to net-zero lifestyles, aligning with the broader goals of the European Green Deal.
