I am María, oceanographer and environmentalist with a wide professional experience related to the environment, marine environment, climate change and sustainable blue economy. I was born in Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz, Spain), at the mouth of the Guadalquivir River in front of the Doñana National Park. Perhaps, for this reason, I have always felt a great fascination for the marine environment and for nature.

As a Climate Ambassador, I will promote the objectives of European Green Pact at local, regional, and national level, collaborating at national, European, and international level. In doing so, leading by example, inspiring, and connecting with others will be essential. Specifically, as an ambassador I will be responsible for:

• Reporting with scientific and technical data on the climate and biodiversity situation in the media
• Organising and participating in talks and events
• Participating in projects, technical and/or scientific papers and disseminating them
• Carrying out volunteer actions and involving others, especially at the local level (community garden, coastal bird protection campaign, collection of plastics on beaches, etc.).                    

I am Abel Gambini, a scientific populariser, and vice president of EMS-Energy and Sustainable Mobility, an association that is responsible for raising awareness around issues including renewable energy and sustainable mobility in Italy. In recent years I have traveled around Italy talking about electric mobility, renewable energy, and other Greentech. Since 2019 I have been known in Italy for my role in raising awareness about electric mobility. Since April 2023 I have had the honor of coordinating the guide about Energies for the Nudge for Climate for Italy.

Through my Ambassadorship, I aim to raise awareness about water’s critical role in climate action and empower young professionals to explore strategies for redefining business and envisioning transformative models for a regenerative future. I will draw on my experience in global climate advocacy and corporate sustainability strategy to connect policy, business innovation, and youth engagement, creating impactful spaces for dialogue and action.

I am an engineer in furniture design, interior designer, artist, and certified master craftsman in furniture restoration. As founder of Coworking Family Burgas, I organise creative eco-workshops linking art, recycling, and community. My project Art Depot for Furniture Recycling was awarded by Capital newspaper and the British Embassy in Bulgaria. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I will inspire schools, families, and vulnerable groups in Burgas and the Southern Black Sea region.

During the last years, I have supported and collaborated in different initiatives on Climate Change. Those experiences are my first value, and I have a solid network of contacts, with organizations and people.

I will continue with my tasks as a professor at the university with classes and projects. Also, I will share my knowledge with other educational levels.

I firmly believe that young people are the greatest strength we have. My mission is to motivate them, open their minds and empower them as changemakers.

I am a sustainability graduate, passionate about changing the world around me. I work in the corporate world, where I help companies embark on their sustainability journies. I am also a youth delegate to the UN, with a mandate 2022-2023. I am involved in the youth sector of Bulgaria where I work directly with the youth. Climate has always been a topic of high interest for me. After my mandate to the UN, I wish to continue be invested in youth-led initiatives, with a special focus on climate awareness. I am determined to work on education projects and wish to contribute to a environment where there is a intergenerational dialogue, and solution-driven actions. 

Working at the intersection of youth, climate change and democracy, I try to make climate action youth-led and more inclusive. Currently serving as the Director for Environment at the National Youth Council of Malta and a Girls Go Circular Ambassador, I have worked at both national and EU level, trying to make youth more included, conscious, and active in environmental action.

Change stems from a collective approach and together, we can work towards a future that we can be proud of.

I am an Architect, with an International Master in Landscape Architecture. I designed haveaseed.com, a web platform to show the tangible value of green areas to conserve biodiversity and fight climate change.

We talk with Citizens, Research Institutes, Companies and Institutions, to bridge sound science with concrete daily actions for everyone to contribute. We want to promote UN SDGs and EU Green Deal as frameworks. My motivation is: our children will see the next century, we owe them a future.

I am a biologist with a Bachelor's thesis on Microalgae: A Sustainable Resource for Climate Change and a Master's in Sustainability and Energy Management from Bocconi University. As an ambassador, I will use my expertise to raise awareness through workshops, conferences, and media. Leveraging my public platform, I aim to engage vulnerable communities, ensuring inclusivity in climate action and fostering a lasting commitment.

As an international elations expert and economist with nearly 20 years in energy policy, I aim organizing multi-stakeholder events, launching social media campaigns, developing school workshop materials, and hosting Climate Pact activities. Through my wide network I would engage policymakers, industry, and educators to raise climate awareness and deepen impact.

I am the co-founder of Physisorg, a green start-up that is working on creating resilient businesses through sustainable education and environmental actions.

I am glad to be a Pact Ambassador and I commit to focus on the following activities:

- Spreading knowledge about climate change and its impacts through social media and workshops

- Participating and promoting eco-restoration and environmental actions

- Supporting and promoting sustainable SMEs. Our ultimate goal is to create a sustainable SME Hub

- Working together, because as such we can create a more sustainable future for all. In Physisorg we will keep encouraging action through partnerships.

As president of Westpomeranian Region I know the importance of an environmentally conscious and open-minded community. The goals of the European Green Deal are not only very important to us, but are also integrated into our region's vision of development. Our strategy, adopted in June 2019, assumes that we become a leader in green and blue growth. Our region is already a leader in renewable energy sources, with nearly 30% of Poland's renewable energy production.

I am a designer and educator focused on circular design and textile reuse. I give new life to discarded denim and lead creative upcycling workshops in schools, communities, and companies. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I aim to inspire practical, creative climate action in everyday life.

I am a Senior Investment Advisor at Invest Lithuania, focused on cleantech and the green economy. I am passionate about using my voice for the planet - from promoting EVs to advancing renewable energy. As an Ambassador, I will aim to educate and inspire by sharing knowledge through social media, presentations, and collaborations with startups and communities, helping to drive awareness and action for a more sustainable future.

I strongly believe that change needs to come from all stakeholders and the awareness of all levels needs to be raised, from manufacturers to consumers in order for climate action to be effective.  In this sense, working professionally within "National Ecological Institute" Ltd. Bulgaria allows me to advocate for climate policy adoption on the corporate level, and personal activism, volunteering and being a Climate Pact ambassador will allow me to work with the local communities on awareness. 

I am a seasoned expert with 8+ years in the EV charging industry. Currently I serve as the VP Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at AMPECO. In this role I forge cross-industry partnerships through my understanding of macro-trends in the EV charging ecosystem. I lead regulatory advocacy and sustainability efforts at AMPECO as well as all strategic positioning internationally in the context of industry associations and initiatives. I am a Maritime Lawyer committed to advancing the European Green Deal within the maritime sector, a cornerstone of Europe’s economy and climate action. As an EU Climate Pact Ambassador, I will lead youth campaigns and workshops on sustainable shipping and ocean protection, promoting ESG-driven maritime policy and fostering a future where the sea shapes Europe’s green transition through legal innovation and ethical leadership. 

I am a Sustainability Analyst at Signet Bank specializing in sustainable finance, energy policy, and EU regulatory frameworks, including the EU Taxonomy and ESG standards. I focus on translating complex climate and sustainability regulations into actionable strategies, promoting responsible investments, and fostering collaboration between financial institutions and local communities to drive an inclusive green transition.

I'm setting the Ecodesign and Circular Economy roadmap at my company as manager of the Center of Excellence Ecodesign. Sustainable products, solutions and services is the way forward. We develop the tools to support the product development departments to make better decisions in product design. We combine Life Cycle Assessment with Circular Transformation Indicators of the WBCSD to have a holistic view on our products and share it with industry partners, customers and supply chain actors.
