If we want to protect the climate, we have to make people aware that what they really want, what is important for them, what serves their health, happiness, prosperity and safety, is perfectly in harmony with what serves our Earth's health and well-being.

We can achieve a true and lasting change by using creativity, smart solutions, humour, and, above all, local small communities, not platitudes.

As a Pact Ambassador, I want to show that everyone can be a local hero and that everyone can be an ambassador for causes. 

I am a 23-year-old founder of the AI companies S.D_Nexus and Neon in Geneva who passionately advocates for the emblem of Europe; a symbol of shared unity and esprit de corps that motivates young citizens to take decisive actions in addressing the multifaceted challenges of our world. As an AI engineer and environmental scientist, I developed numerous prototypes that are global and effective, demonstrating cohesion in tackling current challenges; particularly, by advocating for peace, climate justice, advancing education, championing gender equality, healthcare reforms, promoting arts and sciences, and driving technological advancements. I completed my bachelor's in electrical engineering from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. Recently I developed a Glacier Monitoring Network (GMN) utilising remote sensing technologies, including synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and LiDAR to accurately generate data on glacial mass balance, and water resource management within the Baltic sea region.

I have been active in the field of formal and non-formal education for over 15 years, and have initiated a wide range of activities aiming at raising awareness and comprehension on how people can effect change. More people need to learn about the significance of fast fashion, the value of a sustainable future, and the need to make responsible decisions. Environmental education must be promoted in our institutions, workplaces, and communities.

I believe that every action, no matter how small, truly matters. As environmental challenges grow, I’m driven to make a difference through education and raising awareness, knowing these are key to creating lasting change. Whether leading sustainability workshops, sharing insights online, or speaking on ESG topics, I’m committed to making sustainability accessible and actionable, inspiring others to join in taking meaningful steps for our world.

As a dedicated advocate for ethical sourcing and sustainability, I bring a wealth of experience from my advisory role at Oritain, where I have collaborated with global entities to combat forced labor, animal abuse, and deforestation through innovative product origin tracing. My journey has also led me to significant platforms such as the Fashion for Good Museum, where I have thrived as a speaker and contributor in panels, podcasts, and videos, spreading awareness about human rights in supply chains. As an Ambassador, I plan to intensify these efforts, focusing on educational programs, social media engagement, and public speaking events. My mission is clear: to educate, inspire, and engage communities in sustainable and ethical practices, driving tangible change in how we perceive and interact with the fashion industry. Through this role, I am committed to pushing the boundaries of advocacy, education, and action in our collective pursuit of a more sustainable world.

Climate change is one of the biggest challenges of our lives. This global concern has emerged in the international community since the 1972 Stockholm Conference, but now, we need climate actions and a strong international climate policy, urgently. Everything in our planet is interconnected and each stakeholder is committed to ensure the present and future generations rights. This is my personal motivation and I will be devoted to fight against climate change within the teaching framework.

Reuse - recycle - repeat  

In the face of the climate crisis, I believe everyone must act courageously. In 2019, I co-founded Fridays For Future Italy and was national co-spokesperson in 2023. I ran for the 2024 European Elections with a grassroots campaign on environmental and social justice. As a delegate observer at COP26 and COP27, I communicated on climate diplomacy and led events with students. I am committed in my community to supporting flood victims and raising awareness about climate action in inland regions.

We're only here for a while, we've only borrowed our planet from our children and grandchildren. Therefore, it is our duty to leave it in such a state that life on Earth is not only possible but also not burdensome. As an ambassador of the Climate Pact, I want to convince representatives of local authorities, business and all residents that reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, saving water or circular economy is a necessity today, not a temporary trend.

I am honored to be a European Climate Pact Ambassador. Climate action needs to be undertaken by everybody and in all thinkable ways. The activities I will focus on - together with others - are primarily: i. Community awareness and capacity building - especially in the South West region of the Netherlands. This work strenghtens direct citizen involvement for local resilience and sustainability. ii. Convening workshops that allow people to share thoughts and feelings, in support of wellbeing and health. Through this work climate emotions can be expressed and people can (start) to engage with (local) initiatives. iii. Supporting cooperatives (energy transition, greening living spaces) finding new members, building relations with (local) governments. iv. Communication, speaking and use of (local) media. v. Supporting the European Pact ambassadors, also seeking learning across geographies and helping the dissemination of experiences where it is helpful and asked for.       

I am a man of almost 60 years, who has been working in the local government of the city of Prachatice for more than 20 years in various positions. I have experience in many areas related to sustainable management of natural resources - water management, renewable resources, circular economy. And I am a practitioner who does not only see certain parameters, but tries to find solutions that are not ideal, but functional in the long term.

As a microplastics researcher and science communicator, I raise awareness about plastic pollution through educational content reaching over 100k people and co-founded an app that helps consumers find plastic-free alternatives. I have collaborated with global media and NGOs to highlight microplastics in everyday life. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I aim to expand outreach in schools, communities, and online to inspire practical actions that reduce plastic emissions at the source

I am trained as Carbon Conversation Groups Facilitator and I am happy to be part of the projects providing opportunities to community to be more aware, educated and more active regarding their greener and better future.

I am the founder of the Zenaga Foundation gGmbH and a passionate climate and environmentalist. Through my membership in various organizations I have a wealth of experience. By operating several PV systems, my energy surplus house and other measures, I am completely carbon neutral with my family since 2016. Sustainability is for my private and business the basis of my actions. In my lectures, workshops, CSR Coaching, Actions and Projects, I tackle climate protection.

I’m an environmental psychologist driven by curiosity about human behaviour and a stubborn belief that we can change for the better. Combining my experience in project management across climate research, policy, and education, I am passionate about turning research into meaningful actions. Through my work and by leading through example, I strive to build agency, foster optimism, and cultivate a shared sense of purpose to inspire impactful climate action.

I am an artist, scholar, and activist who uses art as a powerful tool to drive change and spark dialogue on complex human experiences. My journey into activism began as a result of my own experience with chronic illness, particularly an eating disorder that lasted for over a decade, making me deeply aware of the pharmaceutical industry's impact on health and the environment. This realisation led me to create art and lead public art-activism campaigns, aiming to address the environmental impact of the pharmaceutical industry. I have had the privilege of engaging in dialogues with major pharmaceutical companies worldwide, sharing my art, voice, and lived experiences to advocate for sustainable solutions. This experience ignited my passion for climate activism, and I have since championed both ecology and human health through art activism. My recent work, 'Voices Above Water,' consists of art reflection cards designed to support mental well-being in the face of climate anxiety. 

I am a naturalist by choice and hobby. I believe we are all naturalists at core and that working close to nature is the way we will cultivate the motivation to make bigger changes, very much needed to tackle the climate crisis. I spend as much time as I can just observing how life around us unfolds. Plants growing in unexpected places, spiders losing camouflage, trees standing in front of any adversity. This type of observation brought me into gardening and permaculture. This is how I grow food for myself and family, clean, slow, a garden that is home for every living creature, that is self sustainable and can produce a harvest even in the worst years.

As a Pact Ambassador I hope to bring these ideas closer to people. I aim to instruct and inform, offer people practical knowledge about growing their own food or selecting better food. 

As an advocate for climate action and youth empowerment and inclusion in democratic processes in Kozani, and the broader region of Western Macedonia, Greece. I have a strong track record of active engagement in the community and a deep commitment to promoting sustainable development, just transition and awareness raising as far as youth is concerned. As an Ambassador of the Climate Pact I aim at initiating youth-driven projects, alongside with the relevant stakeholders of our region, in order to succeed in youth inclusion in the democratic processes of Just Transition of Western Macedonia. As a member of the organising team of the Key Action 3 Erasmus+1st Conference-Youth Forum of Western Macedonia “Youths in EU Regions - Post-lignite Era and Development (Dialogue-Innovation-Actions), organised by Association of Active Youths of Florina, I realised that young people in our region can develop an innovative way of participation through research, development of green skills and advocacy!

Furthermore, my objective is to actively contribute to initiatives fostering sustainable energy, advancing climate policies and actions, and championing environmental preservation. I pursue this mission within the Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia, known as CluBE, where I serve as a Junior Project Manager.

I am a PhD student focusing on forest carbon potential, especially in old-growth forests. I have been working for international climate-forestry projects since 2008. I have experience in land sector climate policy, LULUCF sector.

I believe in science-based solutions. My motivation is to enhance the sustainable use of forests by using climate-smart forest management in a context of growing bioeconomy. Awareness and understanding of climate reality make a difference, therefore I enjoy connecting stakeholders.
