Committed to inspiring climate action through art and learning. I plan to bring people together with workshops, exhibitions, and events that show easy ways to protect the environment and make sustainable choices. Through creative activities, I aim to make climate action easy to understand and help people make a real difference in our shared future.

As an avid environmental advocate passionate about climate diplomacy and youth engagement, I am eager to dedicate my career to protecting our planet, and involving my community to do it! As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I will host community events and online challenges, and continue to post to spread awareness about the climate crisis on my channels. With UN experience, a background in environmental science, and having lived on 3 continents, I see the collective action needed to make a difference!

Climate action is dependent upon education. I have been active in the field of formal and  non-formal education for many years, and have initiated and coordinated a wide range of activities aiming at raising awareness and comprehension on how people can effect change. More people need to experience and learn about the significance of conservation, the value of a sustainable future, and the need to make responsible decisions. Environmental education must be promoted in our institutions and workplaces.

I am passionate about sustainability and climate change. Currently, I serve as the Head of Sustainability and an associate professor at ISM University of Management and Economics. Over the past few years, I have dedicated myself to both professional and personal initiatives that promote environmental responsibility and sustainable practices. I strongly believe in the power of continuous education to drive change. 

As an Ambassador, I will continue to make my contribution in the areas in which I work as a freelance researcher, organizer and co-author of advertising, to raise awareness among public and private operators, public opinion and individual citizens on the effects of climate change. I am particularly paying attention to the current trends and those expected for the future on the development of synergies for the sustainability of the WEF nexus (Water, Energy, Food).

As an EU Climate Pact Ambassador, I aim to create awareness on Sustainability by providing and sharing information and practices. Sustainability has always been my passion and lifestyle, I'm solution-driven, and I would like to use my overall expertise to make a better world.

As an Ambassador, I plan to educate, communicate, raise awareness through client engagement, on and offline events and thematic discussions, research, online campaigns, data, expertise and publications related to climate change.  Matching and twinning European schools, industry and civil society with African institutions to create resources that educate us on our interconnected world where our actions have implications locally, nationally and internationally. 

As a climate ambassador, I will advocate for the green transition of local and regional communities. My plan is to bring climate issues as close as possible to every single household and help people overcome the challenges of tomorrow's climate situations. As president of the Youth Council, I will personally advocate for the voice of young people in issues related to the environment and climate. I believe that with clear actions and clear examples, a lot can be done. 

As an Ambassador, I bring my experience in engaging diverse actors and my passion for sustainability. I have developed and coordinate Finland’s yearly national Sustainability Week and I am active in the KERÄ rural policy network, a Climate Pact partner. I was awarded Sustainability Actor of the Year 2024 for my work on sustainability in a rural context. I enjoy exploring how organisations can highlight both large and small climate actions and foster meaningful dialogue.

As a waste and environmental engineer, agriculturist, part-time lecturer, and a devoted environmentalist, committed to addressing our preset environmental challenges. My belief in the power of education and training, has reinforced my conviction that awareness is the key to combatting climate change. Through my role in the regional council, I plan to develop programs to promote climate literacy, focusing on waste management, sustainability, aimed at fostering a greener& healthier environment. 

My name is Meda and I will be organising monthly Climate Cafe events in Kaunas. My aim is to establish a safe and welcoming environment where individuals can convene, engage in discourse about climate-related concerns, exchange innovative ideas, and acquire comprehensive insights into the Climate Pact and what it aims to achieve.

My activities focus on supporting local governments and non-governmental organizations through substantive training and workshops, environmental education, and financing activities aimed at preventing climate change and minimizing its negative effects. I plan to advocate against climate change at a local level, I will encourage Local Municipalities to participate ate in the 'Green Cities' program. At International level, I will organize plantation drives at the Institutional level.

I am a climate pact ambassador who is passionate about taking action for the climate and the environment. I plan to engage and educate the public through various activities, such as:

- Developing a videonewsletter series about SDG13 and sharing the latest climate research with the public 

- Highlighting online courses on Climate Action that can provide people with the knowledge and skills they need to take action

- Organising webinars with various stakeholders to foster dialogue and collaboration on how to achieve the goals of the Climate Pact

- Making use of my LinkedIn network to spread the word about the climate pact and its objectives and encourage people to join the community

- Designing animation video that explains the climate pact goals in a simple and inspiring way

- Collaborating with my fellow Climate Pact feambassadors to design collective actions that can create a bigger impact in their communities.

I am new in climate iniciatives. #CanDo and #Possitive attitude unconsciously opened my way to LEAN with enforcing the basic 6S method through employee engagement by introducing internal culture development projects and coordinating employee training processes, focusing on empowering others through learning events. This experience continuously led me to suistanability iniciatives. At local level mostly, so far.

As a Pact Ambassador, I am dedicated to advancing climate action with a strong emphasis on education and inclusivity. With a background in sustainability and agriculture, I am focusing on my mission to raise awareness and cultivate a collective commitment to climate action among diverse audiences, particularly in educational institutions. My initiatives encompass developing educational resources, delivering impactful presentations, and organising empowering workshops, with a specific focus on inspiring youth, empowering girls, and engaging citizens in countering climate misinformation, ultimately encouraging climate-neutral practices. I am enthusiastic about leveraging my roles as a sustainability researcher and citizen scientist, utilising social media and conference platforms to drive practical solutions for a sustainable future. Together, our collective efforts can truly make a significant impact in the battle against climate change.

With a career dedicated to representing the interests and concerns of regions and cities, I remain committed to accelerating climate action on the ground. In my new role as chair of the Commission for the Environment, Climate Change and Energy (ENVE) of the European Committee of the Regions, I strive to ensure broad and active public participation in the climate and energy transition. A key priority of my work is raising awareness about climate change, its impacts and its solutions.

My motivation is the planet. We have to save it, and younger generations are very important in order to reach that goal. I will contact schools, mayors and important people that can help us. My most important job is to raise awareness, and I will give 100% of my dedication by organising climate days at schools, creating days for making my hometown greener and much more!

I am a youth worker experienced in writing, facilitating, and organizing Erasmus+ and ESC projects on sustainability, climate, and inclusion. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I plan to raise awareness through newsletters, TV appearances, and monthly school events engaging young people in climate action.

As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I will raise awareness on the impacts of climate change and how to stop the perpetuattion of structural inequalities, such as those between women and men. I will promote the involvement of women in decision-making, so we can help drive the adoption of climate change policies and strengthen the efforts by ensuring they benefit the needs of women and the communities that they are members of. I will actively build networks of experts, public stake holders and civil society representatives, so that the gender gaps can be reduced and the access to resources, education and information can be assured for women working in rural areas across Romania and Europe.
