Manuel Ortiz-Lobato

Having been a teacher and lecturer for over 20 years, as well as headmaster of a Secondary School in Valencia, I am currently  an Inspector of Education at the Regional Government of Valencia. I am commited to the supervision, evaluation and quality assurance at all stages of the education system, as well as to contributing to policymaking and innovation. I am deeply concerned with climate action and sustainability, and during my years as teacher and headmaster I have implemented different actions and activities to involve my students and raise their awareness. At the moment, my position allows me to influence teacher training and organise exchanges of good practices, as well as to contribute to educational policies in my region. It is absolutely urgent that we all take action against climate change and that involves all actors and stakeholders in education.
