As an advocate for sustainable farming and environmental protection, Andy Vermaut urges Europe to take action to reduce pollution and improve air quality. Climate change has significant consequences, with potential losses of at least €190 billion in the EU. To mitigate these effects, we must reduce emissions and transition to a low-carbon economy. We can make an impact by working together to strengthen the local supply chain, promote environmentally friendly transportation, protect vulnerable populations, support farmers in transitioning to sustainable practices. Let's create a sustainable future for everyone by investing in research and offering financial incentives for sustainable farming.

I am an entrepreneur and activist.

My main professional activity is the development of tourism and especially the development of maritime tourism in Greece.

I have been a co-founder of GREENPEACE Greek Office since 1990, I was President up to 2012 and Honorary President since then.

Ι have been President of Economic & Social Committee of Greece (October 2015-February 2021). As European Climate Pact Ambassador I'll be active in awareness in climate and other environmental issues.

As a board of director's member in French and international national sports organisations, I have developed high-level skills in sports governance. Sensitive to the issues of climate changes, I have adopted a responsible behavior in favour of the climate and sustainable development very early on.

My role as a board of director member has allowed me to gradually changes mentalities and behaviors within my organisation. The way is still long.

To be part of the group of European ambassadors for the climate will allow me to enhance my knowledge in this area and to exchange on good practices developed in the other European countries in order to improve my organisation's commitment to the climate. Being an ambassador will also allow me to have a greater impact in the communication and training activities we will carry out focusing on the least sensitive people.

As a Municipal Deputy I will spread awareness and better inform the local and regional population as well as to advocate for a  greener municipality. As the leader of an Academic Association created to fight climate change I will inform, spread awareness and encourage good practices to the students community. We can never forget that the students of the present are the leaders of the future and by spreading awareness now we are helping to create better leaders.

Ramon Vila is the founder and owner of Vision Communication, a communication agency specialized in raising awareness on social transformation issues, this is #comm4action.

The agency has a strong record of leading communication campaigns on climate change adaptation and mitigation, as well as on key related subjects including Blue Economy, Smart Mobility, Green Energy, Gender Equality, SDGs with regional and international organizations like EU, UN, OECD, Eurocities, Council of Europe, and ASEAN.

I am a 20 years old studying for a law degree. Several years after the Paris Agreement the 2030 SDG Agenda, we still need to step up our efforts to limit global warming to the 1.5°C target. We need to rethink the way we work with nature and create a space where we can work together to fight for the climate and the environment.  My strong desire to get more involved in environmental and climate issues and to take more concrete action in my fight for climate justice led me to get involved in many organisations, such as the Youth Parliament in Luxembourg which included two years as the Co-President of the Environment Commission. In addition, I have been actively involved in many environmental events in Luxembourg for several years, such as the ClimateXchange, and, in 2021, I represented Luxembourg at the Swiss Youth Parliament in Bern as a participant in the commission on cooperation on water and renewable resources. My aim is to promote citizens' commitment to the climate through conferences, debates and special days dedicated to the environment and the climate, as well as to improve dialogue with local authorities and citizens in my country on how best to put our climate and environmental policy commitments into practice.Luxembourg is already well on the way to achieving carbon neutrality and a more sustainable way of life, but there is always room for improvement. A small gesture can make a big difference!

I am a landscape architect, PhD fellow and university assistant at USAMV Bucharest and I am interested in getting involved in projects related to the sustainability of urban green spaces in the context of climate change.

I am a dedicated climate activist at Music Declares Emergency, committed to amplifying climate awareness and a sense of urgency within the cultural sector, while also offering tools for ecological transformation. Serving as a sustainability consultant and technical co-founder of the eco-business Crowd Impact, I leverage technology to address the predominant carbon emitter in the events industry: audience mobility. At the European level of Music Declares Emergency, I am orchestrating collaborative projects among country groups and coordinating the creation and promotion of green standards from artists to music venues. We use the power of music to inspire a shift in societal thinking.

I am a third year bachelor student who is interested in both law and environmental policy. Therefore, I aim to raise public awareness and knowledge about climate change. Climate change is happening right now and everywhere. Thus, it is essential to act urgently. As a new European Climate Pact Ambassador, I would like to raise people’s awareness of environmental protection, especially through the creativity and collaboration efforts with other local associations with similar aims like me. Concretely, my project and planned actions will touch SDG number 12.3 issues related to climate change and food security. My goal is to meet the compromise of sustainable development for the future generations and provide sufficient knowledge to all indivials about challenges and solutions related to climate change.

The sustainable development of cities is an integral part of my studies and overall occupation. My company (SUPCO) is carrying out a series of vital studies for the municipalities in my country aiming to estimate the level of their sustainable development. My mission as an Ambassador is to assist the advancement of the sustainable development of cities nation-wide, as well as their adaptation to climate change through the use of quantitative data and indicators (SDGs, GRI).

I am an environmental educator, activist and seed guardian from Slovenia, based in Italy ina multicultural and border region in the heart of Mediterrean Mitteleuropa. I'm specialized in in Sustainability, Environmental ethics and Environmental education and I work as a freelance climate coach, helping students, teachers and educators adopt systems thinking and positive approaches to global and local challenges. I adore dry stone building and goats.

I believe that Climate Action must become the top priority at political level and a standard practice in our every day lives.

I teach the course on Climate Change (impacts, mitigation and adaptation) in the natural and anthropogenic environment at the MSc of Environmental Protection at the Open University of Cyprus. I work with the students to help them develop their knowledge and skills in climate-related issues and help them become multipliers of climate action. The course has a strong focus on EU and UN policies and initiatives and the impact that these have in various economic sectors and the life of EU citizens.

Mr. Wadsak worked as Weather-Anchor on the most popular morning show on Austrian radio and also as weather presenter on ORF television.

Mr. Wadsak has been head of the ORF-TV weather department since 2014. Mr. Wadsak is deeply committed to climate communication.

He has been a member of the ‘Climate Broadcasters Network and is a founding member of ‘Climate without Borders’. He was Journalist of the year 2019 (Science Category) and wrote a book about Climate Change in 2020.

My goal is to prevent a "Carbon tunnel vision", promoting the need to simultanesously work on environmental and biodiversity challenges in addition to pursuing climate goals. Decarbonisation should not be the only focus and solution. We only have one planet, there is no plan B. It is never too late to act.

After studying economics, positions at the T-Mobile Team (cycling) and HSV as well as the HSV foundation "Der Hamburger Weg" followed, among other things, in 2016 by further training as a CSR manager and starting to become self-employed with a focus on strategy development and advice on the topic of sustainability for medium-sized companies in the district of Vechta and in sports for Darmstadt 98, the Climate Arena, Bayer Leverkusen, VfL Osnabrück, the German Ice Hockey League, Adler Mannheim and the DFB, among others. I am the founder of "Sports for Future".

At TSG Hoffenheim I have been responsible for the corporate development department since 2018, in which sustainability is a central anchor.

As Ambassador I will help to raise awareness on climate change, visibilize and difuse solutions and support climate justice and social inclusion. My main motivation is to help to build a more resilience, sustainable and faire society.

In my role as European Climate Pact Ambassador, I will:

• Utilise my network of scientists (I am a grant writer in bioeconomy/climate/sustainability fields), climate activists & local/national politicians to inform & engage Helsinki residents in taking concrete steps towards climate action;
• Communicate knowledge on challenges/solutions;
• Organise events & share local context-specific solutions, taking into account views & ideas of residents;
• Develop policy recommendations for Helsinki.

Every morning I wake up with new ideas and energy to create and search for new solutions. In life, I am guided by the words   "Because what we do today, we do for Generations"

I belive that I have a chance, even to a small extent, to contribute to the improvement of peaople's lives and maintain peace in the world.

I am the Head of the Spatial Management and Real Estate Department of the Mińsk Mazowiecki City Hall. I graduated from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Department of Landscape Architecture. I have been a professional public administration official for fifteen years. In the years 2008 - 2018, I was responsible for spatial planning at the Stanisławów Commune Office, and from 2019 in Mińsk Mazowiecki. I was a  member of many interdisciplinary groups in the field of recreation and development. I am one of the initiators of activities to protect the quality of life of residents and the city's spatial policy. I coordinated the "Action Plan for Cities" programmme implemented within the project of the city of Mińsk Mazowiecki “Adoption of the local spatial plan for the implementation of SIM-Mińsk Mazowiecki”. Moreover, I participated in an interdisciplinary team that created the "Local Development Program of the City of Mińsk Mazowiecki".
