Description
The Climate Pact Youth Dialogue was held in the context of the European Year of Youth - an opportunity to bring the needs and fears of young people to the forefront of European policy. 14 young Climate Pact Ambassadors and one representative from the European Youth Forum participated in the dialogue with the EVP Timmermans. The event was also livestreamed, allowing for participants across Europe to participate and ask questions virtually.
The topics and the agenda for the meeting were jointly created by the young Climate Pact Ambassadors, the Youth task Force of the European Climate Pact and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA):
