The Euro-Med Youth Federation (EMYF) is an international civil society network based in Berlin that connects youth organisations, educational institutions, and local authorities across Europe and the Mediterranean. EMYF promotes youth empowerment, intercultural dialogue, and sustainable development through education, innovation, and cross-border cooperation.
Its mission is to strengthen young people’s capacity to lead social and environmental change by linking civic participation, green skills and inclusive learning. EMYF implements EU-funded projects in climate action, digital transformation, gender equality and community development – such as gagen.eu, which uses informational games for intergenerational climate education.
EMYF engages a wide range of stakeholders including non-governmental organisations, universities, municipalities and policymakers to co-create initiatives that advance the European Climate Pact’s goals. Through training, dialogue and local action, EMYF works to translate sustainability commitments into real community impact across the Euro-Mediterranean region.
