Description

Sustainable learning spaces are more than just infrastructure. They are environments in which students learn and live sustainably. They provide health and well-being benefits to students, foster climate resilience, and bring sustainability into everyday teaching and learning.

The European Commission has published a study exploring how schools across Europe are making their buildings, practices and learning environments more sustainable - and what policies can do to support them.

If you're a school administrator, teacher or policymaker who wants to help schools be sustainable, check out the findings, recommendations and funding opportunities in the study’s final report. Be sure to make use of the accompanying resources too, including a toolkit, case studies, a compendium of good practices, and more.
