Description
Children and adolescents are at a key stage of development, making access to nutritious food essential for their health and well-being. That’s why SchoolFood4Change is helping schools rethink their approach to school meals, ensuring that the most vulnerable children are able to enjoy delicious and healthy meals.
The Nourish to Flourish brochure promotes a whole-school approach to food, supporting schools in low-income neighbourhoods where children may be at greater risk of poor nutrition.
Rather than seeing food simply as part of a meal, the brochure explores how it can be woven into all aspects of school life. By changing how food is viewed, it gives schools the tools to implement healthier, more sustainable food systems to ensure every child and young person has access to nutritious meals and the opportunity to thrive.
