The Carbon Footprint Association is a non-profit organisation committed to raising awareness and driving action against climate change. It empowers citizens, companies and institutions to measure, reduce and offset their carbon footprint. Its mission is to foster a culture of climate responsibility by providing practical tools and knowledge that support the transition to a low-carbon future.
The Association offers free training through its online campus, covering carbon footprint accounting (Scopes 1, 2 and 3), reduction strategies, compensation and communication. It supports organisations in preparing and registering projects with Spain’s governmental registry (MITECO) and promotes ‘EcoGestures’ – small community actions with measurable impact. Its key activities also include awareness campaigns, consultancy services and volunteer engagement.
The Association’s network involves around 400 trained volunteers, hundreds of citizens and a wide range of stakeholders such as companies, municipalities, universities and non-governmental organisations. By connecting these actors, it creates a collaborative ecosystem aligned with European and global climate goals.
