The European Climate Pact photo competition shone a light on the inspiring actions people are taking for the climate at home, in their communities and in cities, helping to build a more sustainable Europe for the future.

We are dealing with man-made climate change,” announced Jan Dusík, the European Commission’s Deputy Director-General for Climate Action, as he opened the Climate Pact’s citizen-led climate action event on 8 October in Brussels.

We know that not all heroes wear capes and when it comes to climate, anyone taking meaningful action can be a superhero.  

The European Climate Pact invited everyone across the EU to submit a photo and caption of the climate action they are taking at home, in their communities and cities.

Every new season, global fashion brands roll out new collections and styles, tempting consumers to kit out their “old” wardrobe with the latest looks.
