Twelfth edition of ‘Keep Clean and Run for Peace’

ERICA Soc.Coop., together with AICA, is promoting and organising the twelfth edition of ‘Keep Clean and Run for Peace’, an initiative that combines sport with respect for the environment, created to raise awareness amongst Italian citizens about the issue of littering.

Over the course of the first eleven editions, eco-runner Roberto Cavallo has travelled through most of Italy’s regions from north to south, running and collecting litter whilst meeting thousands of citizens, schoolchildren and organisations who work every day to protect their local areas and the environment. 

To mark the initiative’s twelfth year, we have decided to run whilst cleaning a section of the Via Francigena del Sud, from Benevento to Bari. 

The initiative will take place from 28 September to 3 October 2026 and will involve over 30 local authorities, all of whom are enthusiastically taking part. The twelfth edition of Keep Clean and Run for Peace will also be presented at a press conference to be held at the Europa Experience headquarters in Rome on 23 September.
