In colloboration with the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and the Service of Modern Monuments and Technical Projects of Attica, Eastern Central Greece, and the Cyclades, this climate action is aimed at raising awareness of three major aspects of the Climate change: Climate, Nature and Cultural Heritage in the heart of Modern Athens.
On Saturday, September 26, we walk from the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to the National Garden and Zappeion (three of the most significant monuments of Modern Greece), and observe the city differently.
Can we feel climate change by walking just a few meters in the heart of Athens?
How do monuments and outdoor sculptures respond to heat, humidity, vegetation, and air pollution?
What can cultural heritage teach us about designing future cities?
Are the topics that this climate action will try to address through a "Three stops, One circle" climate walk. The climate action is also part of the celebration of the European Cultural Heritage Days 2026.
