Satellite event:Peer Parliaments for Climate Justice: Student Dialogues on the Ecological Transition

Five Peer Parliaments at Milano-Bicocca engage students in critical climate debates on energy, urbanization, migration, food, and ecofeminism—promoting civic engagement and sociological insight on sustainability

As part of the Sociology of the Environment course at the Department of Sociology and Social Research, University of Milano-Bicocca, five Peer Parliaments invite students to critically debate key challenges of the ecological transition. Each session features two opposing groups engaging in structured, moderated debates on pressing climate and social justice issues:

  • April 28 – Renewable Energy
  • April 29 – Urbanization and Urban Greening
  • April 30 – Climate Refugees
  • May 5 – Agro-food Policies
  • May 6 – Ecofeminism
