The Laboratory of Palynology (University of Florence), in the framework of NBFC,(National Biodiversity Future Centre) in collaboration with the WWF Oasis of Laguna di Orbetello and Lago di Burano, as well as the WWF Province of Grosseto Association, coordinated two activity-packed days open to both schools and public at the Laguna di Orbetello (Tuscany, Italy). The event, titled ‘Un tuffo nella biodiversità degli stagni costieri' took place over two days. On 2 February 2024 was organized a guided tour with active participation of students in monitoring activities led by researchers. On 3 February, the seminar 'Clima e Biodiversità: come e perchè studiarli. Dalla teoria, alla pratica… al quotidiano!’ was held at the historic building “Casale della Giannella” (WWF Centro di Educazione Ambientale 'A. Peccei’) open to a wide audience. These two days also offered the chance to visit a pollen trap installed by researchers from the University of Florence to monitor plants biodiversity over time.
