Satellite event: Sustainable Tourism in highly impacted areas in Spain

Spain is a country highly impacted by mass tourism, but this is even higher in the islands: Balearic and Canary Islands. Especially during summer, the islands are impacted by a tourism that degradates the ecosystems and surpasses the limits of their capacity. This is why we want to talk about sustainable tourism and the importance to support local initiatives that are committed to a just and inclusive way of tourism.  

Spanish ambassadors from the islands will explain the initiatives they are involved in to advocate for sustainable tourism.
