Join us from September to December 2024 on our systems thinking journey to prototype an enabling infrastructure that bridges climate adaptation, transformative action, and social equity!
Europe's Fast-Changing Climate Reality
Human-induced climate change is affecting the planet, with Europe as the fastest-warming continent. These changes will impact our daily lives through health and other systems, such as food, water, energy and infrastructure, the economy, and the ecosystems we depend on.
How can we adapt to climate change in a way that regenerates these systems while building resilience and social cohesion?
EquiRoots Climate Collective (ECC) and Inner Development Goals (IDG) EquiRoots Climate Hub hosts an online systems-thinking capacity-building journey, From Risk to Resilience: u.lab.
The intention of this learning experience is:
- To integrate insights of the first European Climate Risk Assessment EUCRA on societal resilience through systems thinking lens;
- To prototype climate solutions by integrating diversity, equity, inclusion, and biodiversity into underlying societal value systems.
These conversations will place particular emphasis on bridging the inequality gap, as well as connecting AI /technology with Indigenous knowledge and nature-based solutions.

Join the Call: From Risk to Resilience
We invite “sustainabilists”, students, researchers, activists and artivists, health and systems thinking practitioners to participate in this collaborative experiment, which aims to prototype pathways to bridge adaptation planning, transformative action, and social equity.
We encourage everyone to apply if interested in any of the following
- Sectors: health, water, food, eco-systems, well-being and economy, energy and infrastructure, peace & mobility;
- Cross-cutting themes: storytelling, art, culture; youth, data and technology; entrepreneurship, governance.
This series of conversations, spanning from September to December 2024, will focus on building societal resilience in Europe using a mapping approach to societal values, particularly addressing the inequality gap and bridging AI/Technology with Indigenous Knowledge/Nature-based Solutions.
