“The Planet We Want – A Message from the Generation of the Future to the Leaders of Today” is an educational and awareness-raising initiative aligned with the momentum of COP29.
The event will engage 90 children in a creative workshop of writing and drawing, encouraging them to reflect on the importance of environmental protection, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the role of COP29 in shaping global climate action.
The children’s letters and drawings will be sent to the United Nations Regional Information Centre (UNRIC) in Brussels as a symbolic gesture of hope and action.
This initiative adds value to the European Climate Pact community by fostering climate literacy, inspiring intergenerational dialogue, and empowering the voices of younger generations as drivers of change.
