Satellite event: Innovative contributions from women in the climate and environmental crisis (Contributi innovativi dalle donne nelle crisi climatica e ambientale)

A webinar looking at women's key role in the climate challenge

2024 saw for the first time the average temperature on a global scale exceed the limit of 1.5 °C, compared to the pre-industrial period, recommended as a prudential threshold for humanity by the 196 countries participating in the COP21 in Paris in 2015. In addition, in recent years as many as six of the nine planetary environmental limits, defined according to science as those that regulate the stability and resilience of our planet, have been declared exceeded, increasing the risk of irreversible changes.
