Satellite event: Growing UP your nature

We aim to organize a photo-voice exhibition highlighting environmental issues at a local level. Library volunteers will go to the community to identify polluted areas in the locality or those with environmental problems (landslides, deforestation, etc.), they will take as explicit photos as possible that will be discussed at the library, together with other members of the community and with local officials, to find remedial solutions to the identified problems. The photo exhibition will remain open to the public for a week, during which the library's volunteers will take the initiative and clean up the polluted areas. This action is aimed at young people and is part of the project initiated by the Pietrari library in 2023 through the DiscoverEU Inclusion program, financed by the European Commission.
