Satellite event: European Green Deal: what the younger generation can do for the climate?

The gymnasium students of North Lithuania to gather for the discussion of European Green Deal. They are egged to learn on of what does it mean for the younger generation, what are the means of contribution, engagement and impact.

The objective is to introduce the young students into EU green deal, and relate policies, to present the subject also through international speakers, and to engage them closely into European climate and sustainability activities.

It would be great value added to the European Climate Pact and EU green polices in sense of awareness raising and including the young people into activities, motivating them. The students will sign Declaration that they are supporters of European Green Deal and European climate policies. 

The event will have two parts, the first part of 45 min. will consist of the PowerPoint presentation of EU Green deal, also taking recent Compass of Competitiveness into account. The second part of 45 min. will consist of the panel discussion, while panel gathering online, to present the views of various counties towards EU green deal. The panelist who will be online: ex-Commissioner Violeta Bulc, working with International trade center, and Pact Ambassador from Germany, also Elena Gomez, the ESG director of Club Climate Europe from Spain, Robert Piret form MIT France, the Education Director of Club Climate Europe.
