Satellite event: EU Rural Coworking Forum - Engaging local communities

A 2-day forum in the Ribera del Duero region of Spain where rural coworking spaces from across Europe will gather to share best practices on community engagement in order to promote a collaborative & regenerative economy that revitalizes rural areas.

Within the framework of the EU Climate Pact ambassadors network and the European Erasmus+ CoLab Europe project about the future of rural coworking in Europe, in which NBSCLIMATE (Ribering) is a partner together with the Italian association Trevessu (leader) and the Portuguese association MARCA, we are organizing the 1st European Rural Coworking Forum, with the focus on building vibrant communities of practice in order to promote rural repopulation via alternative development models centered on shared work-spaces (“coworking”) where, in addition to a place, ideas, dreams and projects are shared.

For two full days, sessions will be held around how rural coworking spaces can collaborate with key local stakeholders: civil society (children and families, youth, seniors, NGOs), companies (SMEs, medium and large corporations, business associations), academia (university, educational centers), etc. Impactful cases will be presented both by the host coworking space itself (Ribering) and by other participating entities in the sector from all over Spain and Europe. You can also take part online.
