Satellite event: EU Day for the Victims of the Global Climate Crisis - Living Library, Panel Debate and Workshop in Prague

Join us on July 15 in Prague for a unique event honouring the human stories behind the climate crisis. Through storytelling, film, debate & interactive workshop, we’ll explore how climate change affects real lives—and why action matters.

This event would be kind of a multidisciplinary public intervention aimed at honouring the human stories behind the climate crisis and engaging participants emotionally and critically. Through a symbolic installation of stories representing victims of climate disasters, a living library with storytelling, documentary screening, panel debate and an interactive workshop, we aim to humanize climate data and provoke reflection on responsibility and action. The program culminates in a participatory role-playing workshop where attendees confront ethical dilemmas in a fictional climate-affected society.

By combining storytelling, video, debate, education, and immersive experience, the event would foster empathy, awareness, and a deeper understanding of the global and social dimensions of climate change - highlighting that the climate crisis is not only about numbers but about people with names, lives, and futures.
