This is the seventh European Climate Pact Lunch Talk Webinar tagged, ‘Unlocking Energy Grants for Home Retrofits: A Pathway to Climate Resilience‘. It is scheduled to hold at 1:00pm on Thursday, 1st May 2025. The aim of this webinar is to educate homeowners, communities, and stakeholders on the available energy grants for home retrofits, helping them access financial support to improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon footprints, and enhance climate resilience.The webinar will also feature the EU Peers Project – European Practitioners for Integrated Home Renovation Services, which seeks to create enabling framework for breaking down barriers to renovation. This webinar will highlight the role of home retrofits in climate action, emphasizing their impact on lowering emissions, reducing energy costs, and improving comfort and health in homes.Our speakers include Michael Deen, Community Energy Hub Project Coordinator. He will be speaking on ‘Introduction to Community Energy Hub’. Colm O’ Mahony, Energy Engineer – Domestic Retrofit Lead, South East Energy Agency, will speak on, ‘Vulnerable households – IHRS for strategies against energy poverty’
