Satellite event: Energy Communities Leadership Programme

We are excited to announce the launch of the Energy Communities Leadership Programme, organized by the HORIZON Europe ENPOWER project. This leadership programme is aimed at people that are either involved in emerging/existing energy communities, working in local/regional governments, working in energy service providers or social support organisations, as well as all other interested people wanting to establish a consumercentric energy system and community energy approaches.

By joining this free capacity building programme, you will learn about navigating regulations, digital services and social engagement strategies for energy communities, as well as data strategies, governance and energy community business models, all developed within the HORIZON Europe ENPOWER project. The programme will provide ample examples from different pilot communities in Austria, Portugal, Greece, Ireland, Hungary, and Spain, providing information on energy savings, energy efficiency, digital transition and successful social engagement, for example.

The capacity building progamme runs over 4 dates (in September/October, 2.5 hours each), takes place online, is free and in English. The four online modules aim at equipping participants with tools and methods for data-driven energy communities. Webinars are standalone, but certificates of completion are issued to those that attend all 4.

The modules cover a wide range of topics:

• Webinar#2: “ENPOWERing Citizens in Energy Communities: Navigating Regulations” - Date: Tuesday, 07th October 2025 - 10 am
• Webinar#3: “Balancing Technological Innovation and Social Engagement in Digital Energy Communities” - Date: Thursday, 23rd October 2025 - 10am
• Webinar#4: “Scaling up Energy Communities with Effective Data Strategies, Governance and Business Models” - Date: Thursday, 30th October 2025 - 10 am
