Satellite event: Clothing exchange, book exchange and seed exchange + ClimateWalk at urban gardens

Join us on Wednesday, September 25th, for an exciting and eco-conscious event at Vrtički pri kozolcu in Podutik, Ljubljana. This afternoon will be divided into two main activities: 1. Climate Walk (17:30 - 18:00): We’ll start with a guided walk around the gardens, showcasing sustainable gardening practices. Participants will learn how to apply eco-friendly techniques to their own gardens while observing how these methods positively impact the environment. This walk is part of the EU Climate Pact initiative, and it’s free of charge. Remember to wear boots and warm clothing! 2. Swap Event (18:00 - 19:00): After the walk, we invite you to join a swap event where you can exchange children's and adult clothes, books, and garden seeds. The swap operates on a simple “bring and take” model: Bring up to 10 clean, well-preserved, and seasonal items. Lay them out based on labels. Browse other items and take home what you need. Our goal is to promote sustainability by reducing waste, reusing goods, and encouraging environmentally friendly practices. The event will also feature voluntary donations supporting sustainability projects by Društvo Karuna. New members are welcome to join, with opportunities to rent garden plots or participate in gardening workshops.
