A climate walk through Prague will explore how the city is adapting to climate change through specific, real world measures. On April 10, we will visit several key locations that help Prague mitigate and manage the impacts of climate change.
The event starts at 13:00 at the European House (Národní třída) with a brief introduction to Prague’s Climate Plan 2030. This will be followed by a three-hour guided walk through the city, including public transport transfers. The walk will be led by representatives of Prague City Hall and will be conducted in Czech. During the walk, we will explore how Prague is implementing adaptation measures to handle rising temperatures, extreme weather, and urban sustainability challenges.
Participants will see practical solutions in action, from green infrastructure to water management and urban planning innovations. Experts from Prague City Hall will provide insights into the decision-making and implementation process.
This event is ideal for anyone interested in climate adaptation, urban planning, and sustainable development. Come and see how Prague is working towards a climate-resilient future!
