Satellite event: Climate route by bicycles at Stavros Niarchos Foundation

A Climate route with bicycles which will take place at Stavros Niarchos Foundation.It is located just a few kilometers from the center of Athens in the region of Palaio Faliro and it is a multifunctional, environmentally sustainable center of education, art, sports and recreation.

During the Climate route we will highlight the Park of the Stavros Niarchos and its characteristic flora that we find in an urban landscape,the Canal that is one of the most characteristic elements, the energy canopy that is covered by 5,700 solar panels and can produce up to 2.2 GWh per year and sustainable mobility which is a fixed goal, with the main vehicle being the cultivation of cycling culture and the use of the bicycle as a means of movement, exercise and entertainment.
