Satellite event: Climate communicators as agents of change: a new role in the face of crisis

Communication that creates value vs. communication that promotes change through values?

The climate crisis is changing not only our environment, but also the role of communication in society.

At this event, we invite you to look at climate communicators as agents of change – people who not only inform but also activate society to take action. In discussions and presentations, we will explore how communication can become a strategic tool for systemic change.

  • Anthropocene self-awareness. Prof. Mintautas Gutauskas, Faculty of Philosophy, Vilnius University
  • What is the Global South, and how can we talk about it ethically? Indrė Augutienė, Director of the World Citizens Academy
  • Is the economic system capable of transforming itself into a sustainable one? Donatas Kuras, sustainability and communication expert, head of Kuras ir partneriai
