Satellite event: Climate Academy

Climate Academy is a project concering climate education focused on youth (15-19 age) organised in cinemas in Kraków and Wrocław where young people could watch environmental movies, and take part in discussions with environmental experts.

Climate Academy is a project of the Green Festival Foundation implemented since 2019 in various cities in Poland, addressed to high school students and senior classes of primary schools. Till toady, 55 meetings have been organized, with 20,000 young people from schools in Krakow, Warsaw, Łódź, Wrocław, Katowice and several cities in Małopolska taking part. 

In first part of the 2025 there will be 8 meetings organised: four in Kraków and four in Wrocław: 

February 13th – KRAKÓW – Nowohuckie Centrum Kultury March 18th - KRAKÓW – Nowohuckie Centrum Kultury April 10th - KRAKÓW – Nowohuckie Centrum Kultury April 11th – WROCŁAW – Kino Nowe Horyzonty 

April 25th – WROCŁAW – Kino Nowe Horyzonty 

May 14th - KRAKÓW – Nowohuckie Centrum Kultury 

May 16th – WROCŁAW – Kino Nowe Horyzonty 

Cyclical cultural and educational events aimed at young people aged 15-19. Screenings of ecological films, winners of world festivals, meetings with creators and experts, discussions with young people. Ecological quizzes. Panel guests: filmmakers, experts, UN representatives, environmental activists, representatives of local governments.
