Satellite event: Build your own HOUSE with negative carbon footprint

Informing citizens that hempcrete building creates healthy (chemical-free and damp-free) indoor environments. It is a “better-than-zero-carbon material”, locking away more atmospheric carbon for the lifetime of the building than was emitted during its construction.

 One hectare of industrial hemp can absorb 15 tonnes of CO2 per hectare. Hemp's rapid growth makes it one of the fastest CO2-to-biomass conversion tools available, more efficient than agro- forestry.
